ASM SREクラッチディスク オーガニック

ASMスポーツクラッチディスクは、圧着力とレスポンスを重視しつつストリートで必要な扱いやすさを最大限確保するために、メタルディスクを基本としつつトーションダンパー付とし、純正カバーと合わせて使うことでクラッチ踏力は純正と同等に抑えたメタルクラッチディスクでした。その狙いはほぼ達成されています。ASM S2000 1号車に装着したのをはじめ、富士や筑波でスポーツ走行をしているS2000オーナーさんを中心にたくさんのオーナー様から支持をいただいている製品です。
今回、そのクラッチディスクに素材違いモデルを追加設定することにしました。一般的にはノンアスと表記されている、トーションダンパー付オーガニックフェーシングディスクです。目指したのは、従来のASM SREメタルクラッチディスクと同等のエンジン伝達トルク350Nmを確保しつつ、メタルクラッチ特有の運転操作のシビアさを緩和することです。スポーツ走行するオーナー様に限定してお薦めしていたメタルディスクと違って、今回の製品は通勤にもS2000を使っているような日常ユースのオーナーさんにもお薦めしたい製品になりました。容量面でも全く不安がありませんので、ASM S2000 1号車のクラッチをメタルからオーガニックに変更します。クラッチ交換時には、工賃を節約できるのでTODA RACING製軽量フライホイールの同時装着を推奨しています。
DREXLER LSD装着で劇的に運転しやすくなった1号車ですが、待望のオーガニックディスクへの変更で、文字通りサーキットからストリートまでカバーする車に近づきます。ASM筑波スペシャルのスペアカーと言って過言ではない1号車、今シーズンはこのS2000でタイムアタックする予定です。今までと最大の違いは、その車を自分で乗って楽しめることでしょう。日常乗るからこそ気付くちょっとした不便さを時計に影響のない範囲で改良しつつ、「本籍はサーキット」と言うS2000のキャッチコピーを具現化した車を作りたいと考えています。新しいクラッチは、そんなS2000を目指すためのひとつの回答です。

The ASM Sports Clutch Disk uses a metal disk clutch with toe-tion damper. Which provides pressure and response and easy for street use. Using the stock clutch cover, the force on the pedal is the same. I think we have made what we wanted. We also have it on the ASM S2000 car no.1, and a lot of our S2000 customers who goes to Tsukuba and Fuji.
We have added a new model with a different material for the clutch disk. In general, it is non-asbestos with the toe-tion damper organic facing disk. What we are aiming for next is to have the same torque transfer of 350Nm like the SRE metal clutch which has that strict control to make it easier to control. Not limiting for those owners who goes to the track witch uses the metal clutch but owners who drives their S2000 for everyday use. There isn’t any concern with the capacity too. We will be changing the ASM S2000 Car no.1 to organic from metal as well. If you are planning to change the clutch, we recommend changing the fly-wheel to TODA Racing Ultra light Crmo fly-wheel.
After installing the DREXLER LSD it has made the car no.1 easier to drive. After installing the organic disc it will be more street useable. You can say that the car no.1 is a spare car from the Tsukuba special car no.2. We will be using car no.1 for this season for the time attack. The difference will be a car which can be enjoyable to drive. By using it every day there is things that you realize which is inconvenient and you try to improve that part even though it doesn’t help with the time but as the catch copy of the S2000 is for the track the new clutch is one solution for that.
