10年目のリフレッシュ

「10年の節目に愛車のS2000をリフレッシュしたい」、そんなお客様の声が多く聞かれるようになりました。ASMでは純正・無限・ASM・お客様リクエストの社外品を組み合わせてメニューを提案しているのですが、今回のお客様はただ車をリフレッシュするだけではなく、ここからさらに10年乗り続けるために車そのものを一新して気持ちも新たにしたいと言うことでご来店されました。
今回導入するのはフロントバンパー・フロントフェンダー・サイドステップ・リヤオーバーフェンダー・フロントディフューザー・リヤディフューザーは特注MR高強度CFRP製、ドア・センターディフューザーはCFRP製を選択、リヤバンパーは07ワイドFRPモデル、同じチャレンヂ社のオートクレーブで製造されている無限ハードトップを装着です。
サスペンションはASM SREダンパーキット3WAY＋HYPERCOスプリング、駆動系はSREクラッチ・TODA RACING 軽量フライホイール・TODA RACING 軽量クランクプーリー、ASM AP RACINGブレーキキットを装着し、ZONE ブレーキパッド03Cでまとめます。ブレーキに合わせてホイールは1号車USEDのProdrive GC-07Cに変更しました。インテリア関係では本皮＋アルカンターラでまとめたシェル、RECARO RS-G ASM LIMITED CL左右セット、ASM KAROマット、momoバックスキンステアリング、ASMステアリングボスを組み合わせて大幅リフレッシュです。ドア内張りやセンターコンソールも1号車と同じカーボンパネルで仕上げます。
パワー系では、TODA RACING製ASM 2.2LエンジンとASM オイルクーラー内蔵ラジエターをご購入下さいました。今使っているLSDは音もなくすごくお気に入りとのことですが、効きやレスポンスも含めてDREXLER LSDをお薦めしたいところです。車両全体の完成は7月頃でしょうか？完成を楽しみにして下さい。
Turning point to refresh after ten years
At ASM there are many customers who bring they S2000 these days and asking us to refresh they cars. at ASM we many combination menu to refreshing your S2000. Genuine parts, MUGEN parts, ASM parts, depending on the customer. The customer we had today and his request was not only just refreshing the car but to drive another 10years and a new start for him and his car. The car it self is already at this frame shop and dismantled. Starting from scratch, using our ASM S2000 car no.1 as an example he is going to remake his car.
About car no.1 feature is weight saving, preservation of stiffness, improved aero dynamics and balanced by I.S.Design body kits made out from carbon fiber. The exterior his has purchased was front bumper, front fenders, side step, rear over fenders, front diffuser and rear diffuser. Specially made by MR high mechanical strength carbon prepreg. The doors and center diffuser will be the normal catalog model of carbon prepreg. The rear bumper will be the 07 wide FRP model with tow hooks attached for front and rear. And from the same CHALLENGE manufacture, the MUGEN hard top. He has already installed the MUGEN bonnet and ASM carbon trunk.
for the suspension, he chose our ASM SRE Damper kit 3WAY with HYPERCO 14kgmm/16kgmm, for the drive train, SRE Clutch disc organic, TODA RACING light weight fly-wheel, TODA RACING light weight crank pulley. For the brakes, ASM AP RACING brake kit for the front and for the rear BROS Big Brake kit, ZONE brake pads 03C with AP RACING PRF 660. to fit the front brakes, the rims will be Prodrive GC-07C which is used item from car no.1. for the interior, RECARO RS-G ASM LIMITED CL for both driver and passenger side, ASM KARO mat, momo back skin steering with ASM steering boss. Door lining and center console will be the same like car no.1 finished with carbon panel.
For the power, we had a used TODA RACING ASM 2.2L engine and ASM Radiator with oil cooler. For LSD, he is satisfied with what he has at the moment which is also quiet but since he is doing so much already, I suggested installing the DREXLER LSD for more improve response. I am still waiting CTP for the MUGEN hard top but the rest of the parts we should be able to have within this month. The car should be finished by July, I am looking forward to see it when its done.
