KW Dumper Kit Version-3（2way）装着

S2000よりも先に、セカンドカーのトヨタ プログレにKWダンパーキット Version-3を装着していただきました。高速移動主体のセッティングができているダンパーで、街乗りでの快適性も損ねたくない、そんな一般的なドライバーの誰もが思い描く理想的なダンパーがKWです。しかも選択したのはASMがS2000用として推奨している伸縮別調整が可能な2WAYなので、クルマの動きを細かくセッティングできるのが大きなポイントでしょう。
装着したのがアルテッツァ用だったので小加工しての装着でした。今日お客様にインプレッションを聞いてみたところ、タイトコーナーではバネレートなりにクルマが大きく動くけど、とにかく車体が安定していて運転しやすくなったと大好評でした。S2000用は同じくKWにしますか？それともASM定番のSREですか？迷うところですね〜。
Before installing it on his S2000 we installed the KW Damper kit Version-3 on his Toyota Purogure. The set up is mainly for high-speed use damper but also the comfort for town use was important. Its is a damper which any normal driver would want. That is KW. And the model he chose was the 2WAY, which we at ASM recommend for adjusting the damper for detailed set up for the cars movement. Which I think is a huge point for this.
The one we installed was for Altezza (Lexus IS) model. I asked the customer today and asked how the damper felt. On the tight corners the car move largely due to the springs but the car its self is very stabled and easier to drive. So I guess he is going to install the same KW on his S2000 or the usual ASM SRE Damper. It’s a hard choice.
