夜の散歩、ヨコハマ名所巡り

昨日のASMはお休みだったけど昼過ぎに出勤して適当に仕事を片付けた後、山下公園近くに用事があって行って来ました。行きはKINGちゃんに送ってもらい、1時間ほどで用が済んだので歩いてASMに戻るつもりだったけど、昨日の横浜はすごく涼しい。秋の空気に包まれて散歩するのにちょうどいい感じだったので、ぶらぶら歩いてみることにしました。
まず目に付くのは横浜マリンタワー。開港150周年のシンボルとして今年リニューアル工事が終わったばかりです。個人的には昔の古びた赤いタワーが良かったのですが、今までも時代の流れに合わせて少しずつ変わっていたから、これはこれで新しい横浜のイメージでいいのかな？でも200周年を迎える前にはもう1回赤くなったマリンタワーを再現してもらえたら嬉しいなぁ。
そのマリンタワーの向かい側に山下公園が広がっています。氷川丸はマリンタワーと並んで港のシンボルです。マリンタワーとセットで取り壊されるとか売却されるとか悲しい噂もありましたが、スポンサーがついて今も元気に営業中です。昔は夏に船上ビアガーデンをやっていました。僕は飲まないので分かりませんが行ったことがある人の話によると、「船で飲んでいるってだけでテンション上がるんだよね〜」と言ってたけど・・・。今はもう止めたのかな？
山下公園を散歩したのは20時前後の1時間、たくさんの外国人観光客、カップル、家族連れ、アウトドアな方々（汗）など、適度に人がいる感じで、さらっと乾いた空気と潮の匂いと合わせてとても居心地が良かったです。ちょっと遠くにみなとみらい地区が見えていました。ホンの少し離れただけで、50年ぐらいタイムスリップした気分になれる空気感は最高ですよ。ホテルニューグランドの前を通って一旦ASMに戻り、ここでMINIに乗って今度は中華街に向かい、横浜由来の時計ブランドGirard Perregauxを日本に持ち込んだフランソワ・ペルゴが活動した拠点あたりで軽くご飯を食べて、元町を通り抜けて帰宅しました。
19時30分ごろから歩き始めて、かなりのんびり散歩したり食事をしながら歩き終えたのが22時過ぎ、ASMを出発して3時間あれば色々なところを歩けますね。＋30分あれば港の見える丘公園や外国人墓地も十分に歩けます。暑かったり寒かったりすると散歩って気分にはなれませんが、これからの季節はこうやって歩いて景色を見るのも面白そうです。車に乗っていると見えないものがたくさんありますから。撮影機材はNikon D700＋Nikon 50mm単焦点レンズと言うシンプルな組み合わせ。軽くて明るいのでスナップ撮影にちょうどいい選択でした。
ASM was close yesterday but I came to the shop after lunch to finish up some work. After that, I went to near Yamashita Park for a while. KING sent me in the beginning after hour I finished and walks back to ASM. The weather yester day was very nice and cooled. You can feel the autumn air right around the corner. It was a nice day for a walk.
First that comes in your site is the Yokohama Marine Tower. As a symbol of the 150th of the port opening, the tower was renewed. Personally I like the old red rusted tower better but as time pass by surroundings changes as well and I guess this will be the new image of Yokohama. Maybe on the 200th anniversary it will be nice if they can re do the old red rusted tower again.
Opposite the Marine tower, there is the Yamashita Park. Hikawa-Maru also another symbol of Yokohama which is park by the park. There was a rumor that it was going to be sold or torn down but it seems they found a sponsor and will up and running. One of the customers told me that on the deck they have a bear garden which brings up your tension.
The walk I took was about an hour around 8pm. There were many tourists, couples, families and out door people exercising. With the dried air with the smell of the ocean was very comfortable. It’s a bit far but you will be able to see Minatomirai area just near by but its completely different and feels like you have time skipped 50years. After returning to ASM, I took my MINI and went to china town. After a light meal I went back home passing by Motomachi.
Started walking from 19:30 and was a nice slow walk, had something to eat, and by the time I was finish was after 22:00pm. With 3hrs there are many places you can go by walk. Another half an hour probably can go to the Minatono-Mieru-Oka-kouen or the foreign cemetery. If it was hot and cold in the same time its difficult for a walk but with the weather coming up I think its nice to take a walk to see the view which you always see differently, there is many things you couldn’t see by car. I used the Nikon D700 with the Nikon 50mm lens which is a simple combination just nice for a snap photo.
