DUCATIもSACHS

先日、オートファッションファクトリー横浜さんでDUCATI SPORT1000Sを見て気づいたのですが、標準でSACHSダンパーが装着されていました。イタリアSACHS製で通常のオリフィスモデルだから何てことないのですが、フェラーリに採用されているSachs Race Engineering社製ダンパーとイメージが似ていて何となく格好良く見えてくるから不思議です。ちなみにDUCATI用でもSRE製はラインナップされておりそれは普通に4wayダンパー、S-GT500ワークスマシンと同じです。
僕の愛車のMINIにはもちろんSREダンパーキットZEROを装着しているのですが、最近になってよりスポーツ志向にクルマを作りたい気持ちが出てきました。今のダンパーセットは純正を基本にしながらダメな部分を徹底してつぶす方向で出しているので、ストリート〜高速ワインディングまでバランスよく楽しめるダンパーに仕上がっています。ただ、次の一歩が気になる今日この頃、売り物になるとは考えていませんから100％自分の趣味で作ります。趣味ですからコスト度外視、Front 2way＋Rear 3way、別タンクへ繋がるホースはF1マシンのホースを製作しているATEC製の超軽量ホースを使ってエンジンルームに別タンクを設置できたら便利で格好いいし最高です。
ASM SRE Damper kit GP Concept、夏までには仕様を決めて試作品が手元に届くとうれしいな。
DUCATI also uses SACHS
The other day I when to Auto Fashion Factory Yokohama. I was looking at the DUCATI SPORTS 1000S and I realized that the damper was from SACHS. And its standard. If it was the normal orifice model, it isn’t that attractive but Sachs Race Engineering that also Ferrari uses. So just by looking at it its eye catching. Even for DUCATI they have the SRE line up and has 4way damper, same as the S-GT 500 works machines.
Even for my MINI I have the SRE damper kit ZERO but recently I have this feeling of making the car for sportier. The damper that I have now is based on genuine damper fixing the bad part of it. Thinking of going for the next step. I don’t think it will be able to sale so this will be 100% personal. This will be Front 2way＋Rear 3way and the horse for the tank will be fro ATEC which they also do F1 and hopefully I can put the tank in the engine room. I think it will be convenient and the looks will be nice.
ASM SRE Damper kit GP concept I hope I can get the prototype by summer to test it out.
