DREXLER LSD for Z33

先週は戸田レーシングさん、週末はプロキダイの柴田さん、今日はアネブルの中野さんがASMにご来店、色々と打ち合わせをさせていただきました。このメンバーが集まると話題はタイムアタックになりがちですが、今年は1号車でのタイムアタックをする予定ですから製品化を含めた新商品の打ち合わせが多く、イコール自分で実際に乗ることができるのでまさに趣味、例年以上に力が入ります。
今回はS2000用DREXLER LSD用のオプションパーツとして65/50・50/40の2種類のランプ角に加えて、45/35と言う新ランプ角を切った部品を用意してもらい1号車でテストしたいとお願いしました。普通であればイニシャルトルクをかけて使うところですが低イニシャル・高レスポンス・正確な効きのバランスがDREXLERの存在意義だから安易な方法は採りたくありません。1号車でのテスト結果が良ければ2号車（ASM筑波スペシャル）でもセッティングパーツのひとつとして使えます。夏頃には完成して欲しいので、加藤寛規"監督"からも中野さんに重い圧力をお願いしたいところです♪
写真のサイドフランジ付DREXLER LSDはZ33用です。S-GTやS耐マシンへの投入を狙っているそうですが果たしてどうなるのでしょうか。「過去の実績」がある程度重視される世界ですからね。世界一のレースフィールド、ヨーロッパでの実績なら全く問題ないのですが、アジアや日本のレースやチューニングフィールドでは「割安」と言うのも性能のひとつらしいのですぐに結果を出すのは難しいかもしれません。でも、シーズン中にSREダンパーを投入してシリーズチャンピオンを獲ったあのチームなら可能性は高そうです。そして、GTマシンより先にASM Z33への投入も検討中です。
DREXLER LSD for Z33
Last week I had TODA RACING, the weekends I had Prokidai and today I have Nakano-San from Enable visiting us at ASM. When all these people get to together, the topic of our conversation is always about the time attack. For this year we will be doing the time attack with car no.1 so we will be talking about new items, which also can be used, on the street. Which every one can make the same car, after all it’s a hobby. And we are planning to more strength in it for this year.
We have ordered a new option parts for the S2000 DREXLER LSD. Two ramp angle of 65/50, 50/40 and another 45/35 for us to test it out on the ASM S2000 car no.1. Usually it will be just adding the initial torque but with the low initial and high response with the accurate effect balance of the DREXLER so I didn’t want to take the easy way. If everything goes well with it in car no.1, I am planning to put it in on Tsukuba Special (car no.2) as a set up parts. I wanted to have this item by summer so I have also asked Kato Hiroki to put some pressure on Nakano-San.
The picture above is the DREXLER LSD for Z33 with the side flange. They are thinking of using it for S-GT and S-endure machines but we will see how it goes. It’s a world, which past achievement is more important. If they are planning to go for Europe that has the world’s high race fields shouldn’t be a problem. For Asia or Japan cheep is also part of performance and it will be difficult to give a result. But maybe that one team which during the season, which installed the SRE dumper and took the series champion could have a possibility. And the other thing is we might install it on our ASM Z33 before those GT machines.
