鎌倉散歩

昨日はお休み、朝寝坊気味に起きた後ランチでもしようってことでMINIに乗ってソロドライブに出かけました。目的地は江ノ電長谷駅周辺、稲村ヶ崎近辺にある古民家で営業しているカフェです。国道1号線〜関谷インター〜柏尾川沿いを下り、藤沢鎌倉線に入って大仏切通〜長谷観音を通過してR134に出るルートを通りました。出発の時点では少し雲の間から陽が差していたのですが、到着することには雨がいつ降ってもおかしくない空になっていました。
今回は食事メインのドライブでしたから何も下調べしていなかったのですが、さすが鎌倉大仏や長谷観音など定番の観光スポットがある町なので、修学旅行生や外国人観光客がすごく多かったです。自宅から1時間車を走らせただけなのに、横浜とは違う空気感に満ちていました。MINIを駐車場に止めてお目当てのカフェを探しながら適当にスナップ写真を撮って楽しむことができましたよ。残念なことにカフェは臨時休業だったので、また来週チャレンジしたいと思います。
仕事でS2000 1号車の富士テストするのはすごく楽しいし、仲間と一緒にS2000 3号車や赤いMINIに乗って朝の箱根をドライブするのも楽しいし、こうやってソロドライブを楽しみながら近所で小旅行って言うのも好きな自動車の楽しみ方です。僕は方向音痴なのでMINIにナビが欲しいなぁと思って既に3年、最近は地図を広げて道を探しながらドライブするのも気に入っています。地図ってよく見ると桜の木のイラストが入っていたりするものがあります。日本人の桜好きが表れていますね。もし地図を持っていたら探してみてください。
Taking a Walk at Kamakura
I had the day of yesterday. After waking up late in the morning, I decided to have lunch. And so I go in to my MINI and went out on a solo drive. Destination, some where near Enoden Hase station. To this town house café. Through Route 1 to Kanestu inter to along the Kashiwaogawa. Then through Fujisawa Kamakura line to R134. it was cloudy when I left with a bit of sunlight shining down from between but when I arrived, it change to dark clouds which look liked it was going to rain anytime.
Main objective for the drive was to have lunch and I didn’t do any research. As usual the Buddha in Kamakura was pack with tourist and student on field trips. It’s only about an hours drive from my place but it’s completely a different atmosphere with Yokohama. After I park my MINI, I went looking for the café and took some snap shots wile walking. Unfortunately it was close. I will try to come again next week.
To test our car no.1 S2000 at Fuji for work is very fun, going driving with some close friends for a morning drive at Hakone with car no.3 and MINI is also fun, driving solo by your self and travel is also another way of enjoying cars. I am bad with directions and always though of having a navigation system on the MINI. Its has been three years but looking at a map and finding roads wile you drive is also fun for me. If you look carefully, there is a small picture of the Japanese blossom on the map. This also shows how Japanese loves blossom. If you have a map, try to find it if you can.
