スズキ スイフト用SACLAM管が入荷しました

今週末開催する
ASM×TM-SQUARE スイフトフェア
に向けて、SACLAMサイレンサーキットが入荷しました。見てください、この凝った造形を。テールフィニッシャーはもちろん、パイプ分割部分にもMINIなどで実績のある部品を流用して、スイフト用単体ではとても採算が取れないような構造になっています。振動に対する耐久性を考慮した複雑な形をしたステーにもSACLAM宇野さんのこだわりが見て取れます。
音質に関しては、エンジンの排圧や最高出力発生回転数の高さなどの問題もあるために、例えばZ33用SACLAM管のように誰もが聴いてすぐに違いが分かる濃い味付けの音ではなくなっていますが、僕の率直な感想ではCopen用に近い音の印象かな。オーナーさんが30分乗れば確実に違いを感じていただけることでしょう。SACLAMの音の本質を知る人が聴くと、どこからどう聴いてもSACLAMの音を奏でているマフラーです。
多分空ぶかしでは何も分かりませんし、サーキットのように遮へい物のない場所で全開の音を聞いてもほとんど違いが分からないでしょう。ああいう特殊な場所では音質云々よりも大きな音量がモノを言いますから。ストリート用で保安基準適合マフラーの音質チューニングのポイントは、中間回転域でアクセルをじわっと踏み込むようなシチュエーションでの鳴き音にあります。ここはストリートでじっくりと試聴しないと本質を理解できない部分です。本物の排気管スペシャリストが製作したスイフト用マフラーに興味があるオーナー様、ぜひこの週末ASMにご来店下さい。

開発中だった頃のコペン用SACLAM管のインプレッションを下記LINK先に書き留めていました。スイフト用に通じる部分もありますので、参考までにご覧下さい。
The SACALAM Silencer kit for SWIFT has arrived today for the ASM×TM-SQUARE SWIFT event which we are going to have this weekend. Just look at it. With the sound quality, due to the pressure of the exhaust and the maximum out put level with the rpm, it is not like the Z33 which as soon as you hear it you will know it’s a SACLAM pipe. My personal impression with this is, it sounds more like the SACLAM pipe for Copen. Which I think the owner can actually feel the difference after 30min in the car. For those who really know the SACLAM sound pipe, will definitely know it’s from SACLAM.
if just revving it, you will not find the difference. Even on the track which there is nothing blocking the sound at high speed, also I think will not know the difference. On the track instead of sound quality, it’s more of the sound volume. Producing silencers for the street and which will pass inspection point is, to get that screaming noise at a mid rpm and punching the gas from there. These is difficult to explain and the only thing to do is to listen to it on the street carefully to understand its quality.
