MINIは車検、306は遠征準備

今日は赤いMINIの車検に行ってきました。
エンジンやサスペンションやブレーキなど、一通りの部分に手を加えているので今さら保証だのどうこう言えるわけでもないので、自分に言い訳しないためとディーラーさんに無理をお願いしないため？に今回はユーザー車検で簡単に済ませました。今回は光軸調整だけが必要でその他の指摘事項なし、スムーズに車検を済ませることができました。
24ヶ月点検はASMが普通認証工場だからキッチリ実施しているので問題なし、消耗品類の交換も必要な部分は行います。また、一定保険金額を支払うことで新車保証を延長するプランがディーラー車検だとついてきますが、これに関しては今後故障修理の都度費用が発生します。今後は全て自己責任となりますが、その分コストはかなり安くついて、総額で17万円近かった車検が7万円で完了しました。
一方、プジョーみたいな306には明日の京都出張に備えてRECARO SR-7 SK100を左右セットで装着しました。当初はS2000で行く予定だったのですが、荷物が予定外に増えたことで急遽306で行くことにしました。それに合わせてレカロシートをSR-7に変更しています。往復で1,100kmを日帰りで走りますので、レカロ新製品の魅力をたっぷりと味わう旅になりそうです。その他ではMINIで使っているポータブルナビSONY NAV-U3の台座を着けてナビを移設したりガラス面に撥水材を塗布したり準備万端です。悲しい感じのフロントマスクには、純正エンブレムをオーダーして装着します。店頭に置いてあるだけの時と違い、車に生気が戻ってきました。
I went to the MOT test today for my red MINI.
I have done modification all through this car on to the engine, suspension and brakes. The assurance becomes complicated. Make less complicated with the dealer, I have gone to the user MOT to make things simple. I didn’t have any big problems but only needed to adjust the head light angle a bit. Other than that every thing went through smoothly.
The 24 month checks I did it at ASM because it is a certificate factory so that wasn’t a problem. Consumable supplies will be change if necessary. There is plan from the dealer which will extend the warrantee for paying a certain amount. But thinking of paying that not knowing when there is going to be a problem, I rather maintain my car by my self regularly and make sure there isn’t a problem. The total cost of going through the MOT with the dealer will cost 170,000yen but doing it my self cost only 70,000yen.
And with the PEUGEOT 306 I have installed the RECARO SR-7 SK100 on both sides from my business trip to Kyoto tomorrow. First, I was planning to go with S2000 but I had more stuff to bring than I expected so I am going with 306 and with the seats to SR-7. I will be driving 1,100km in one day so I would experience the new seats performance. The other thing I have put in to the 306 was the SONY NAV-U3 portable navigation system from my red MINI. Just sticking the base on the dash bored and it’s done. I also did the water repellent finish to the windows. Since the weather report says its going to rain through till the weekend. A bit sad with the front mask but I have already ordered the genuine emblem. Not like the beginning which was like a junk just sitting in front of ASM but slightly refreshed.
