朝からがっつりカツカレーを食べた食欲の秋2009

昨日の夜、何となくカレーを食べに行こうと言う雰囲気になり、気が付けば早朝5時50分、横浜新道戸塚PAにS2000とMINIが集合しました。ルートはいつものようにR1〜新湘南バイパス〜R134〜西湘南バイパス〜箱根ターンパイク〜湖尻〜仙石原、カフェジュリアでお目当ての朝カレーを食べた後、東名高速を通って10時過ぎにASMに戻りました。今回参加したのはS2000が5台＋MINIが2台の合計7台、I.S.Designサイレンサーキット装着車4台とSACLAM管2台と言う組み合わせでした。
久しぶりにS2000で高速ツーリングでしたが、SRE 3WAYのリセッティング効果もあって今まで以上に安定感溢れる乗り味でした。現場にいた人だけが知っている、新湘南バイパスで撮影した2枚の写真がそれを物語っています。毎回同じルート、同じお店、そしてさっさと横浜に帰ってくるだけの朝食ツーリングなんだけど、不思議と飽きることがありません。帰り道はトンネルの中でI.S.Designサイレンサーの音が重なりあって、S2000に乗ってる感じがいっぱいしました。
以前は「いついつ行きますよ」って感じで台数いっぱいのツーリングに行っていましたが、最近は行きたくなった時に急に行くことが多いです。最少参加人数はボクを入れて2人でしたからね（笑）。イベントじゃない分面倒くさくなくて楽しめます。それにしても、空気感だけで早朝5時50分にほぼ埼玉や千葉の北の方から戸塚PAに集合する勇気と行動力には感服しますよ。今日に限っては、空気を読み切れず「帰り道の三宿のカレー屋さん」に集合するつもりだった男が約1名居たようですが。皆さんお疲れ様でした。
Last night all of the sudden I had a feeling of wanting to eat a curry and realizing at 5:50 in the early morning, I was at Yokohama Shindo Totsuka PA with S2000 and MINI. The route we took was the usual route. From R1~Shin Shounan by pass~R134~Nishi Shounan by pass~Hakone Turn pike~Kojiri~Sengokubara. After eating the curry at the usual café Julia, we took the Tomei high way back to ASM. We had five S2000 and two MINI, total of seven cars. Which four of them had the I.S.Design Silencer kit and two of the MINI had the SACLAM pipes installed.
It has been a while driving the S2000 on a high speed touring but with the re-setting of the SRE 3way, the stability has improved very much. Only those who where there knows but the two pictures taken on the Shin-Shounan by pass says it all. Every time is the same route, same place and go back to Yokohama as soon as possible. But amazingly you don’t really get bored of it. While driving back, passing through the tunnel, you can hear many S2000 with the I.S.Design Silencer sound one on top of the other which sounded very nice.
Before, I would inform in advance when we are going and went for a drive as much cars as possible but recently, its always last moment. The minimum was two, including my self. It’s not really a event or something so I can just enjoy the drive. I am always surprised with the even it’s in the early morning or last moment many of them come from far like Chiba and Saitama to meet up at Totsuka PA. There was one who could not make it but I would like to thank every one who came.
