AP RACINGの性能を引き出すアイテム

SACLAM、ZONE、SREダンパーキットZEROと、ASMがお薦めする機能部品を装着いただいているMINIクラブマンオーナーさんがご来店になり、ブレーキシステムの一新とそれに合わせてホイールの入替をしていただきました。
まずブレーキは、bond MINIさんが専売されている、グレーハードアノダイズド仕上げに耐久性を高めるクリアコーティンクを施したAP RACINGキャリパーに、同じくAP RACING製スリットローターを組み合わせたブレーキキットを装着します。キャリパー・ローターを一貫して英国AP RACING開発部隊が設計・テストしているので、そのクオリティはキャリパーのみAP RACINGでローターは安価で径だけ大きなローターを使う製品と比較になりません。また、一般的なチューニングショップさんだとおそらく存在すら知らない、S-GT500でも採用されているレーシングパーツ、ドライブリードも同時装着です。
ブレーキパッドにはコントロール性に優れてスポーツ走行に適していながらも、ダスト・鳴きがとても少ないASM専用摩材を採用したZONE 88Hを選択、リヤには同じくASM専用摩材で1ランク効きを上げたZONE 89Hを選択しました。リヤブレーキホースはASM製を装着。フィッティング部分にスイベル構造を採用して取付時やストローク時に負荷が集中することを防ぎます。また、軽量コンパクトに設計されているため、バネ下重量の軽減につながります。ブレーキフルードはAP RACING PRF660、これは当然の選択でしょう。そしてキャリパーを逃がすために選択したホイールは、品質・軽量化・剛性・強度・デザインを高次元でバランスしたProdrive GC-014iを、ASMでシルバー塗装して装着です。
昨日紹介したフルカーボンボディのS2000と今日のMINIクラブマン、どちらのオーナーさんにも共通するのはパーツ選択で余計な迷いがないことです。チューニングにおいて何が正解なのか、答えがひとつではないのは確かですが、自分自身が妥協してモノを選んだ瞬間の記憶は永遠に自分の中に存在し続けます。大好きな車だからこそ、走ることが楽しいS2000やMINIだからこそ、機能部品を選ぶ時は一切妥協せずにベストを追求することが、結果的に最も満足度が高くなると僕は思います。

This MINI CLUBMAN owner came today to install the AP RACING brake system with new rims to match it. He has already installed the SACLAM pipes, SRE Damper kit ZERO and ZONE brake pads.
First the brakes, which is been release from bond MINI which has the gray hard anodized finish, and a clear coat on top of it for durability for the calipers. And off cause the slit rotors are also using the AP RACING. With the calipers and rotors the England’s AP RACING development team did the design and test on it so the quality very high. Nothing like just changing the calipers to AP and using the rotors to after market ones to enlarge it. We are also using racing parts from S-GT500 for the drive lead, which I think most tuning shop does not know about.
For the brake pads, with the performance of control, which can also be use for sports use and lack of dust and scream the ASM special material ZONE 88H was chosen for the front. For the rear one level higher ZONE 89H was installed. For the rear brake horse, the ASM rear brake horse was also installed. We are using a special shape for the connecting part, which reduce weight and pressure whenever it strokes. It’s also lightweight. For the brake fluid, AP RACING PRF660 was chosen. And the rims he chose for giving a space for the calipers was the Prodrive GC-014i. Quality, lightweight, durability, strength and design balance are on its individual level and painted it in silver.
Like the full carbon body S2000 which I introduce yesterday, This MINI owner also has no confusion with choosing the parts to install. What is the correct answer of tuning cars a many but when you your self chose something to install will always be in you. It’s about the car you love very much and the passion of driving and having fun with S2000 and MINI. That’s why when choosing parts for your car its best not be a flat foot with choosing the best. I am sure the result will be satisfactory.
