東京オートサロン2010、レカロブースにて

幕張メッセで開催されている東京オートサロンに行ってきました。東京モーターショーを見てある程度の予想された通り、出展ブースが小さく低くなったり、配っている印刷物がずいぶんコンパクトになったり質素な面が目立ちましたが、その中でも元気なメーカーさんもありましたし、出展する以上は「ここをアピールするぞ」って工夫があるブースも多くてとても勉強になりました。
レカロブースには、今年夏頃を目処に出てくるであろう新製品や参考出品シートが多数展示されていた他、現行モデルのほとんど全てを実際に座れるようになっていました。シートですから座ってなんぼ、格好良く展示するとかそんな小手先の演出よりもお客様のニーズを的確に捉えた選択だと思います。デーブス社長がいらっしゃったので挨拶をして、その後レカロシートについて様々なディスカッションをしました。
ボク自身、SP-X CL100左右セットやMAGNIFICA左右セットを含め8脚のレカロシートを購入して使ってきましたが、レカロシートの魅力の本質をまだまだ知りません。一般的なエンドユーザーともなればなおさら知る機会すらないのが実情です。その事実を踏まえて、レカロシートやシートレールの何がどう素晴らしいのか、また、どこに価値があるのかを情報発信して欲しいと言うことや、新規発売車種のシートレール開発スピードと完成度をアップさせるためのアイディアを提案したところ、とても興味深そうに聞いてくれました。
デーブス社長は僕と同じ1972年生まれ。僕がただのサラリーマンでヌクヌクと横浜で過ごしている中、ドイツから日本に来て、言葉も文化も見た目も違う人達と一緒に仕事しているって事実だけで尊敬してしまいます。僕ももっと頑張らないとなぁ・・・。真ん中のおじさんはたまたまレカロブースを訪ねてきたオートバックスセブンの住野会長。「また行くわ」って社交辞令、ありがとうございます。いつでもお腹空かせて待ってます。関係ないけど僕の父親と同じ年です。
I went to the Tokyo Auto Salon at Makuhari. After seeing the Tokyo Motor Show, as I guessed there is much more less booth, smaller and lower. Even the hands out was small and compact. Off cause there were few which was trying there best and making it big and trying really hard to appeal them selves.
At the RECARO booth, there were few new products which will be out in the summer and some example seats which you could actually have a sit and try out all the models. The product is a seat so there is no meaning unless you can have a sit on it instead of just showing off with appearance. The President of RECARO Mr. Debus was there and we had many discussions about the current seats and future plans.
I my self purchased the SP-X CL100, MAGNIFICA and many more but I still have lot to learn about RECARO seats. For those normal users out there it will be even more less opportunity to know about these seats. We had discussions about how are we going to let the market know or even more about the seats, how to expand customers, what is good about the seats, seat rails, how to improve the speed of developing new seat rails, I had few ideas and he was very interested with what I had to say.
Mr. Debus is the same age as me, born at 1972. The difference with both of us is me just being a salary man at Yokohama with my own pace, he came all the way from Germany and working with different country, different culture, different language which I have big respect for him. It gives me pressure that I should work even harder. The guy in the middle is the chair man of Autobacs seven Mr. Sumino who just happen to pass by.
