純正デフオーバーホール

1999年式走行距離16万kmともなれば、普通に走っているだけでもそれなりにあちこちに不具合が出てくるものです。こちらのS2000は駆動系から小さな異音が出る気配がありましたので、音源になっていた純正デフをオーバーホールすることになりました。普段はハードワークでS2000に全く乗れないけれど、仕事に区切りがつけば1週間で8,000kmを走り抜ける超距離ドライブに出かけるのが楽しみと言うオーナーさんですから、根拠のない「まだ大丈夫」と言う評価は全くあてになりません。本来必要なコストを節約するために運を天に任せてドライブに出かけ、出先で大きな駆動系トラブルに繋がると結果的に高くつくことは明白です。
今後、エンジン・ミッション・プロペラシャフト・ドライブシャフト・ブッシュ・各モール類など、2009年〜2010年にかけてリフレッシュして行く予定だそうです。このクルマはちょうどボクが買ったASM S2000 1号車と同じ頃の車なので、手直ししながら長く乗り続けて欲しいと思います。ASMのパーツを組み合わせてメニューを組み立てれば、車体と同時にオーナーの気持ちをリフレッシュできますよ。
A 1999 year model which has done 160,000km, just driving normally you will have started to have small problems here and there. For this S2000, the drive train was making some noise and decided to re-new the deferential. Usually due to his work, he can’t drive his S2000 but whenever he has a few days or maybe a week off, he will go out for a long trip to drive about 8,000km. And for this kind of drivers, it’s not good to leave the car on fait that it’s still okay or its going to be okay. It will most proberly cost more if something happens while driving it.
Starting from this until next year, he is planning to re-do his S2000 slowly. The engine, transmission, propeller shaft, drive shaft, bush and rubber materials. This car is the same year model as the ASM S200 Car no.1 and it will be nice to spend time repairing it and to drive it as long as he can. Using ASM parts as part of the menu will refresh the car and the owners feeling towards the car.
