ハイパーレブS2000の取材と言うことで、鈴鹿PROKIDAIにASM S2000 1号車＆2号車が揃いました。今回の取材の目的は1号車と2号車の対比です。事前に取材主旨を100％聞いていれば資料を用意してもう少し突っ込んだ内容の紹介をできたと思うのですが、ASM筑波スペシャルのチーフエンジニアをしているサクシードスポーツ市川さんが設計・製造しているGT補強バーひとつひとつに、ノウハウがいっぱい詰まっています。何回かASM Blogでも紹介したことがある内容ですが、次号ハイパーレブでそのあたりにも触れてもらっています。
その他、空力・サスペンション・ブレーキ・インテリアなど、各部分がいかに共通のキーワードを基本に組み立てられているのかと言う説明に終始しました。ライターさんは「1号車でも2号車でも同じ文章で紹介することになってしまう。違うのはその効果の大きさだけで、目指している方向性は何もかも同じだ。」と感心すると共に、誌面作りの難しさに頭を抱えていました（笑）。また、元々は2号車が主役で1号車はそのストリートモデルと思っていたそうですが（みんなそうでしょ？）、実際にボクの1号車に対する思い入れややっていることをお話して、1号車こそASMの全てで2号車はその裏づけとなるデータを集めるただの実験車両だと言うことを理解してもらいました。それを踏まえてどんな記事を書いてくれるのか、楽しみにしています。
鈴鹿には月曜日の深夜に入ったのですが、明け方東海地方で大きな地震があったことはご存知かと思います。その影響で東名高速が通行止めになり、帰り道は伊勢湾岸道〜土岐JCT〜中央道〜八王子バイパス〜R16〜保土ヶ谷バイパス〜首都高と言うルートで帰ってきました。昼間なら大月JCTで御殿場に抜けるルートが早かったかもしれませんが、昨日も夜遅かったのでR16をスイスイ走ってスムーズにASMに戻れました。ただ、積載トラックの乗り心地と純正シートの出来があまりに酷くて疲労困憊。帰り道、MINIに乗ってレカロシートに体を預けた瞬間、あまりの快適性にドライブに出かけようかと思ったほどです。
とっても辛い取材の1日でしたが、その分誌面の完成が楽しみでもあります。ハイパーレブS2000の発売は今月末8/26、書店では買わずにASMに買いに来て下さいね〜。三栄書房さんから50部購入していますので、よろしくお願いします☆
With the Hyper Rev article for S2000, we have our ASM S2000 car no.1 and 2 at PROKIDAI Suzuka. The article was the difference with these two cars. If they have told me in advance with what the article was going to be about, I could have prepared much more and introduce in more detail. Each GT enhance parts are design, produced by Ichikawa-san from succeed sports who is also the chief engineer of the ASM Tsukuba Special (car no.2) with many know how in it. I have introduced couple of time on our ASM blog and will also be introduced on the next issue of Hyper Rev.
Other things I have explained was aero dynamics, suspension, brakes and interior of each part are build and design for the same key word. The writer told me that I would have to write the same thing for each car, the difference with these two are with how big the effect. But the direction is the same and was thinking hard how to write this. like many, he him self thought that car no.2 (Tsukuba Special) is the lead main car and car no.1 was just a street model of it. But after explaining the ideas which I have put into car no.1 and which car no.1 is everything of ASM and car no.2 was just a test car to get data. And so I am looking for word with how the article will show up.
We arrived at Suzuka late Monday night but due to the earth quick which hit on the Tokai side, we couldn’t use the Tomei high way on the way back with the road closed. We had to take a long way back. If was during the day, and passing through Gotemba might have been faster. With the trucks ride with car no.1 on bored plus the genuine seats was just too hard and tiring. After sitting on my MINI with the RECARO seats, it was just too comfortable which made me went for a drive.
it was a long day but with this, I am looking forward with the finished article. Hyper Rev S2000 will be out on 26th of august and don’t buy at any book store and just come to ASM to buy it. we will have about 50pcs.

気に入って使っているオートファッションファクトリーの億万長者バッグにTagを追加してみました。アルミの端材に手打ちで文字を打ち込んで、面取りも手で行っているので、文字通り手作り感いっぱい。もっと綺麗に作ることは簡単だし、真似をするのも簡単なアクセサリーだけど、「この人が僕のために作ってくれた」と言う物語が僕にとってはとても大切です。

I have added a name tag to my favorite bag which I am using from Auto Fashion Factory. It’s totally hand made, and the words its self as you can see I have purposely left the touch of its been hand made. The material of the plate is aluminum. Off cause it’s much easier to make it more nice and clear, it’s easy to make a similar accessory like this but the feeling and the touch of actually a person hand made this just specially for me gives you and appreciates more.
Since its hand made and its actually being made when ever he has the time, it will take a while to actually receive the product. The basic lay out will be two-four lines, a special word which inspired you which, will be your name. The finished and the design comparing with other branded key-holders are off cause better but for those who would like to print a special words which you can carry around.

今日は8月発売予定のハイパーレブS2000の取材でした。いつもなら筑波号が、とか1号車が、とか言うところだけど、今回の取材のメインはASMのお客様達。インテリア特集と言うことで5名のお客様にご協力いただきました。
S2000と言えば「サーキット走らないと」みたいな雰囲気がぷんぷんしていますが、個人的にはそんなのは製品テストだったりスポーツの一環としてやりたいと思う人がやるべきことで、大部分のS2000オーナーさんはストリートでオープンスポーツを楽しんでいると思っています。そしてそういう視点でS2000を見た時に圧倒的に足りないのはインテリアの質感ではないでしょうか。ほぼ同価格帯のAUDI TTクーペやVW ゴルフ、MINIなどと比較してもワンランク以上落ちる感じがします。今回はレカロシートやカロマットと言う定番アイテムを紹介するだけではなくて、それらを実際に装着したS2000を紹介することで、改造車ではなく純正の高級バージョンと言う位置づけのオープンカーらしいインテリアメイクをしてみませんか？と言う提案をしてみたわけです。ASM Blogで部分的に掲載したことはありますが、プロカメラマンの手でどんな写真になったのか、僕も記事の完成が楽しみですね〜。
ちなみに、撮影のため＆撮影を終えた後、3人のお客様が「やっぱり必要じゃないかな」とASM KAROマットを慌てて購入したことは内緒です（笑）。あるとないとじゃ全然違いますからね。ご協力＆お買い上げ、ありがとうございました。撮影は午前中11時から夜8時まで、休憩なく延々と行われました。カメラマンさん、ライターさん、編集責任者さん、みんなホントお疲れ様でした。次はエピセで♪
We had a magazine interview about S2000 from Hyper Rev. Usually it’s about our Tsukuba Special or our car no.1 but the main interview was our ASM customers. The topic was about the interior and I had five of our regular customers co-operate.
When you think about S2000, it has this feeling which it has to be driven on the track but personally, I think that is just part of it and most S2000 owners enjoy they S2000 on the street with the open sports car. And from this point of view one thing which the S2000 is weak at is the interior quality. Comparing with the same price range like the AUDI TT coupe, VW Golf or MINI, it’s obvious it has lack of quality. Not only just introducing the regular RECARO seats and the KARO matt’s but to actually see it installed on the car. Not just a modified car but a higher quality version from the original. And introducing a interior make up which is important for open top sports cars. I have introduced many on the ASM Blog but I am looking forward with the pictures with from a professional camera man taking the pictures with the column.
After the photo shoot, three of the customers actually purchased the ASM KARO matt’s thinking it was necessary. It’s completely different with and without. I would like to thank every one who help us with this and purchasing the matt’s. The shoot started from 11am to 8pm without any break. I would like to thank again to the camera man, writer and the editor.

S2000のひとつの方向性を提案です

平日ですが2台のS2000が並んで作業中です。
1台はFERODOブレーキパッド DS Performance前後セット＋純正ローター前後セット＋AP RACINGブレーキフルードDOT5.1のセット交換です。純正ローターが消耗したのでリフレッシュを兼ねて作業をご依頼いただきました。こちらのオーナーさんは先日リヤロアアームバーGT-Sを装着されたのですが、お店から出た瞬間にリヤセクションの一体感に驚いたそうです。USED PARTSコーナーにはちょうどGTシリーズの補強バーがたくさん掲載されているのでちょっと気になる存在のようでした。
もう1台のお客様は埼玉県からご来店。車両をお預かりしてG.T WORKS GENROM、パイオニアナビゲーション＆ASMモニターブラケット、レカロシート左右セット、レーダー探知機などをまとめてご注文下さいました。GENROMはフェア終了後も大人気で、ユーザーさんの評価が上がる一方の製品です。寺崎源さんによると今Z33HR用の開発にも着手しているとのことで、完成がすごく楽しみです。ナビはパイオニア製の楽ナビをASMモニターブラケットを使って綺麗にインストールします。レカロシートはASM S2000 1号車にも採用しているレーシーさと上品さをバランスしたオールアルカンターラモデルを選んでいただきました。完成をお楽しみに。

It’s the weekdays but we have two S2000 lined up to work on.
One is changing the brake pad to FERODO DS Performance for both front and rear, genuine rotors for front and rear and AP RACING brake fluid DOT5.1. The genuine rotors warned off so while refreshing this he ordered the other items. This customer also just purchased the Rear Lower Arm Bar GT-S and was surprised with the feeling of oneness. There are many more GT series reinforced bars on the used parts section that he was a bit interested.
The other S2000 was from Saitama. We are keeping his car for a week to install the G.T WORKS GENROM, Navigation using the ASM bracket, RS-G ASM LIMITED Alcantara on both sides and radar system. Even after the GENROM fair we had, it’s getting popular each day. Terazaki Gen is also working on a Z33HR ECU at the moment, which I am looking forward. For the navigation system we are going to use the ASM Monitor bracket, which will be installed beautifully. For the seats, we are going to install the same seats used on the ASM S2000 car no.1, which has a racy feeling, covered full with alcantara.

SスペからI.S.Designサイレンサーキットへ、6年目の決断

今日は徳島県からご来店になったお客様のMINIのオイル交換からスタートしました。納車してから4ヶ月で8,000kmを走ったので、今回は暑い夏用でMIDLAND Competition 15W-60に変更、GRP添加剤、純正オイルフィルターをセットで交換いただきました。R50系のMINIは比較的固めのオイルを入れた方がエンジンが静かになるので、1年を通してこのオイルでも全く問題ありません。さらに5個限定で作ったASMカメラバッグも購入されました。念願の白＆オレンジの組み合わせです。「写真で見るよりずっと良い」って喜んでいただけました。
こちらのMINIオーナーさんは来月またまたご来店予定なのですが、その時にはタイヤ交換とK&G C72を使ってクーラント交換を予定されています。ボクの赤いMINIは昨日2年ぶりのクーラント交換をしたのですが、冷却系内部の錆がクーラントにかなり混ざっていました。SACLAM宇野社長から「MINIの冷却系は錆が出やすいので気をつけた方がいいよ」と先日聞いたのですが、2007年に交換した時はほとんど問題なかったのに今回これだけ錆が混ざっていたことに驚きました。作業は単純なのですが抜けがすごく悪い車なので意外と作業していない車が多いのではないかと思います。MINIオーナーさん、夏本番を迎える前にLLC交換をぜひやっておきましょう。
さらに長野県からS2000オーナーさんがご来店、MIDLANDエンジンオイルとクーラントC72を同時交換、オイル交換特典はASMオイルフィルターストッパーを選択されました。今週Blogでかなり紹介させていただいたメンテナンスキャンペーンですが、月初からこんな感じでかなり好評をいただきました。7月にはまた別の企画をやる予定なので（内容は明日の夜考えます）、ASM Blogのチェックをお忘れなく。次回のメンテナンスキャンペーンは夏が終わった10月頃に開催する予定です。
This MINI owner came all the way from Tokushima today to change his oil. It’s been four months since he got this car and drove 8,000km. He came today to prepare for the hot summer coming ahead. He changed to MIDLAND Competition 15W60 with additive GRP and genuine oil filter. For the R50 type MINI, is better to put in harder oil and give a quiet engine sound and also can be used through out the whole year. He also purchased the ASM Camera Bag. The color choice he made was the White with Orange and told me that it looks much better then on the photos.
He is planning to come again to ASM next month to change tires and K&G C72 Coolant. Yesterday I have also changed the coolant for my red MINI. It has been two years from the last change and many rust was mixed with the coolant. Mr. Uno from SACLAM told me that many rusts comes out from MINI’s cooling system and have to be careful. When I changed two years ago it didn’t have this problem so I was a bit surprised. The procedure its self is easy but its slow coming out and I think many of them out there don’t change this. For those MINI owners out there I recommend changing your LLC before the hot summer.
We also had this S2000 owner from Nagano. Changing the engine oil to MIDLAND, coolant to C72 and installing the ASM oil filter stopper. I have introduced on my blog about this maintenance campaign that we are having and it is getting popular. In July I am going to think of another campaign, which I will sleep on it tonight but the next maintenance campaign would be around in October.

みなさんこんにちは〜。横浜は真夏のような日差しと暑さの土曜日になりました。今日もレカロシート関係のお話で浜松からのお客様など遠方からお客さまがご来店になっています。
S2000関係では6/29（月）まで開催しているS2000メンテナンスキャンペーンの特典をご利用いただき、茨城県からご来店のS2000オーナーさんがFERODO DS Performanceブレーキパッド交換、クラッチホース＋遅延装置カット加工作業をオーダー下さいました。純正のあまりにも甘い初期制動を補う自然なタッチが魅力のブレーキパッドと、エンジンの切れ味を取り戻すことができるクラッチ関連のチューニング基本メニューです。
さらにメンテナンス作業は続き、白い弾丸と呼ばれるS2000オーナーさんがMIDLANDエンジンオイルをオーダー下さいました。特典は内部にマグネットを入れて鉄粉とキャッチすると同時に濾過シートが金属ネットで補強されているためフィルターが潰れないSARD マグフィルター無料プレゼントを選んでいただきました。体感できるパーツではないのですが、1度使うとその安心感は別格のものがあります。オイルはMIDLAND15W-60をお薦めしました。街乗りだけでの使用でもここ数年の真夏の過酷さを考えれば秋口までこのオイルで過ごすのは悪いことではありません。明日は富士にFNを見に行くそうなので早速効果を実感していただけると思いますよ。
「先週はLLC C72、今週はエンジンオイルMIDLAND、来週あたりはプラグ交換、再来週は無限エアクリーナーBOXに交換用エアフィルターの装着でもしようかな〜？」と白い弾丸S2000オーナーさんはコメントされていました。色々気になるパーツもあると思いますが、同時にこういうメンテナンスも忘れない気持ちが大切だと思います。
There were a few customers today from far like Hamamatsu about the RECARO seats.
With the S2000’s, until June29th, we are having the S2000 maintenance campaign. This S2000 owner from Ibaragi came to change brakes pad to FERODO DS Performance, clutch horse and cutting the delay unit. This is a standard menu which we have which for the brakes it has the natural feeling touch to help with the beginning of the braking and the clutch horse with cutting the delay unit will bring back the sharpness of its engine.
And another maintenance S2000 has arrived and ordered the MIDLAND engine oil. The promotion was using the SARD filter which the magnet inside catches iron powder and at the same time the filter has an enhanced gold net which will not crush. It is a part which you will not feel the difference but just knowing it, it will give you reassurance. For the oil I recommended the MIDLAND 15W-60. Even though it’s mainly for street use, with the hot weather its okay to use this oil until autumn. He is planning to go to Fuji Tomorrow to see FN which he should feel the difference on the way.
This white S2000 owner came to change LLC C73 last week, changed the engine oil to MIDLAND this week, planning to change the spark plugs next week and the week after the air filter for the MUGEN air-box. There are other items which he was interested in but it is also important to have the feeling to maintain your car.

550GP開幕、5時50分の扉が開いた日

今日の横浜は朝から晴れて気温も30度を超えました、夏って感じの暑さです。僕は運転免許証更新のため二俣川に立ち寄ったのですが、道中のMINIは吸気温度や水温の関係ですっかり元気がない感じでした。週末が終わると月末月初でスタッフが忙しくなりますが、それが終わった頃にでもLLC C72、エンジンオイルMIDLAND、オイル添加剤GRP、ミッションCastrol Pure Racingを一式交換して、エアフィルターを洗浄済みのものに入れ替え、3年交換交換していないプラグ交換をする予定です。もうすぐボーナスだし（どれぐらい出るのか分かりませんが、もらえるだけ感謝しなきゃ）♪
そんな暑さの中、先日SACLAM管フルセットを購入されたMINIコンバチオーナーさんがオイル交換のためご来店になりました。使用したオイルはMIDLAND Competition 15W-60です。番手を見るとすごく固そうに思えますが、実際には10W-45ぐらいの固さかな？この暑さの中MINI Cooper Sのエンジンを回して乗るにはこれぐらいがちょうどいいです。ASM S2000 2台のタイムアタック号は両方ともこのオイルで冬も走っているんですよ。ついでにオイル添加剤GRPも購入いただきました。エンジンがかなり静かにスムーズになってビックリされたんじゃないでしょうか？前回の記事にご提案したモノは一式まとめてオーダーをいただくことになりました。純正パーツが揃い次第徐々に作業に入ります。オーナーさんが喜ぶ顔を見るのが今からとても楽しみです。
The weather in Yokohama today from morning was fine with the temperature of more than 30℃ and felt like summer. I had to renew my driving license but on the way due to the intake temp and water temp my MINI was active like usual. The beginning and end of the month our stuff will be very busy so maybe a while I will ask them to change all the oils. LLC C72, MIDLAND Engine oil, GRP oil additive, Castrol Pure Racing Mission oil, air filter to a cleaned one and change the plugs since I have not change for three years. Bonus is on the way so I will use for this
Even though it was hot today this MINI convertible MINI owner who purchased the full set of SACLAM pipes cam for a oil change. The oil is MIDLAND Competition 15W-60. just looking at the numbers, it looks hard but its actually about 10W-45. in this hot weather, I think its just nice to drive hard on it. Both of our ASM S2000 time attack cars are using this oil even in a cold winter. He also purchased oil additive. You will be surprised with how quiet and smooth the engine becomes. The items which I suggested to purchased on the previous article, he also ordered today. As soon as we get all the parts we will start installing it. I can’t wait to see the owners face with the difference.
