シンプルなASMロゴステッカーを枚数限定で製作しました。白・シルバー・ガンメタリック各50枚です。カッティングシートで文字だけ残るタイプとなります。フチだけの切り文字なのでガソリンスタンドでゴシゴシ窓を拭くと剥がれそうな勢いですが、見た目重視でこのデザインにしています。MINIならこんな感じでリヤガラス上部にワンポイントで、S2000ならウィンドディフレクターに貼るとオープン時にチラッと見えていいのではないでしょうか。
■シンプルなASMステッカー 420円
I have made a simple ASM logo sticker for a limited amount. 50 pcs each of White, Silver and dark gray. It is a cutting sheet so the words it self will be left behind. It might come off if you wipe the window strongly but it about the looks so I chose this design. For MINI like the picture shown, top part of the rear window as a one point. For S2000 stick it on the window deflector so you will be able to see it when the top is down.

ASM S2000 1号車に採用するタイムアタック用リヤウィングのデータが出来上がってきました。かなり好みの仕上がりなので大きな変更はないのですが、ストリート用としてはデザインと性能のバランスが最高だと思っている今のリヤウィングから入れ替えるので、とにかくリヤダウンフォースを向上させながら、できる限りドラッグにならない形状を目指して作り込んでもらっています。
一番下はウィングサイズと形状の比較で、上が今の製品で下がGT-09案です。ウィングの効果を確実にするために前後方向にウィングを大きくすることを検討したのが赤線のプラン。これだと前後の長さが300mmの大型ウィングになります。性能的には完全にリクエスト通りになりますが、万が一効き過ぎてローマウント＆フラットになると残念なデザインになってしまうので、再検討したのが青線のプランです。これで前後幅が287mmで翼端部分が230mmとなります。GTカーの性能と雰囲気をストリート用ウィングに取り入れた、ギリギリ良いバランスになっていると思います。
The data of the Rear wing which I am planning to install on the ASM S2000 car no.1 is done. Its as I requested and not much big difference are made. For normal street use, the current wing design and performance are the best and replacing it from the current rear wing for more down force and less drag as much as possible.
The bottom design is the compares of the rear wing and the top is the current rear wing, the bottom is the GT-09. To get more efficient effect, the size of the length is larger. (Red line) with this it will be 300mm large wing. Performance wise it is as requested but if the effect is too strong with low-mounted and flat, the design will be disappointing. After redoing it we are going with the blue line. The length of the wing will be 287mm with the tip 230mm. It is a rear wing With the GT car atmosphere and performance for the street and could not be more well balance than this.

さて、これは何でしょう？
4月、スーパーオートバックス神戸のイベント時に話題になったあの製品が今日届きました。本体は超々ジュラルミン（A7075材）の削り出し＋クリアアルマイト仕上げ。ボディへの固定は、フロントは純チタン製の規格品ボルトナットで、リヤは強度が必要なため高強度チタン（64合金）を削り出しで作った専用ボルトで行います。元々はASM S2000 1号車の軽量化のために1セットだけ作るつもりだったのですが、「欲しい！」って人と「ま、ま、まぁ勧められるなら・・・」って人が数人集まり、「お薦めしたいな〜！」とボクが考えているオーナーさん分を含めて、前後セット11台分＋フロント用1台分ご用意しています。
機能部品として考えると非常識ですが、ASMが2号車（S2000筑波スペシャル）に今までかけてきたコストやこだわりを考えると当たり前って感じです。1号車で本格的にサーキットを走り始めた今後は、この手のパーツをワンオフ製作することが増えそうです。後日ちゃんと重量を計測するつもりですが、重量は今まで使っていたものの1/3以下に収まる予定です。それでもマイナス30kgへの道は果てしなく遠いわけですが・・・。
Guess what this is?
The product which was on the topic we had back in April has arrived today. The item it self is made out of super duralumin (A7075) with clear alumite finish. For the front will be using pure titanium standard bolt nut and for the rear, will be using high mechanical strength titanium (64alloy) for the extra strength. I was planning to make only 1set for our ASM S2000 car no.1 for reduce weight. There were many people who wanted the item and we prepared 11sets with extra 1pcs for the front.
As a functional parts its insane but thinking of how much costs and persistence we have done for our ASM car no.2 (Tsukuba Special) I think its normal. Since now car no.1 also will be running on for the track, there will be many one-off parts coming up. I am planning to measure the exact weight but it should be around 1/3 of its current models. Its still very far from reducing 30kg.

岡山のKINGの強い希望で元町epicerに行ってきました。やはりすごくお店を気に入ってくれて、「次来る時は28本の薔薇を持ってもう一度行きたいなぁ〜」と言ってました。
The fist car to install the ASM SRE Damper kit 3Way after that, the I.S.Design Full body kit, AP RACING Brake Kit and ZONE brake pads. Slowly but its becoming a complete ASM S2000. And he came again today all the way from Okayama.
The menus we are going to do are the items below. Additional exterior parts, changing the rear over fender, changing some parts for the drive train and maintenance. I forgot to ask him about the I.S.Design Silencer kit but while doing this I will discuss with him. Which he should be surprise with the difference.

スーパーオートバックス サンシャイン神戸で過ごした週末

ASM S2000 3号車が今のカラーリングになってから大流行のワンポイントASMオレンジ、今回はSpoonフルエアロを組み込んだS2000に施工してみました。翼端板。ドアミラー、無限ロールバー、ホイールをオレンジ塗装です。ベースホイールはUSED Prodrive GC-07Cで、1号車のテストで散々使った傷だらけの製品でしたが、オレンジ塗装したそれはまさに新品同様でした。ロールバーも今まで使っていたものを外してASMでお薦めしている無限製に変更。傷付き防止のためASM筑波スペシャルのフロントバンパーやS-GT500などでも採用しているガードテープ施工を行いました。
実はオーナーさんから「ASMフルエアロにしたいんだけど？」と相談されたことがあるのですが、ゆらたくデザインの完成度の高いエアロパーツですから、こうやってちょっとしたカラーコーディネートでイメージ一新させてみると、また新たな気持ちでクルマに乗れたりするものです。サーキット専用車のルックス全開だったS2000もASMオレンジを使えばこんな感じ。格好いいなぁ〜。（←本気でそう思ってます）
マフラー・シート・サスペンション・ブレーキなどポイントになる部分は自分にとって最善のものをできるだけ早く手に入れて、エクステリアはオモチャ感覚で散々遊んだ後で最も気に入ったものに入れ替えれば、また新たな気持ちで自動車を楽しんで行けます。性能に関係する部分は徹底的にモノにこだわり、性能と関係のない部分は常識や定番ではなくてセンスを頼りに創っていく、これが楽しい自動車生活のポイントだと思います。
After we colored our ASM S2000 car no.3 with some orange. Orange is getting popular at ASM. What we have done with this car is base on the Spoon full body kit we added some orange color like our car. To the rear wing tip, door mirrors, MUGEN roll bar, wheels are painted in orange. The rims are from the used Prodrive GC-07C which we were using on our car no.1 and had lots of scratches but after the paint job it looks brand new. With the roll bar, we removed the ones that was already installed and changed it with MUGEN roll bars which we recommend at ASM. To avoid scratches like the ASM Tsukuba Special’s front bumper or S-GT500 we added the guard tape on it.
The owner of this car actually wanted to change it to full ASM body kit but, the complete quality and design is at a high level and it will be a bit a waist. Just changing or adding some colors will change the image completely and you will be able to drive it with a new feeling. A body kit which looks completely like a track car but adding a bit of ASM orange and it becomes like this. Not bad…
important elements like the exhaust, seats, dampers and the brakes should be taken seriously. For the exterior off cause aero dynamics are important but to have a play full feeling with it is also important. Just like a toy after playing it for a while and if you get bored just change it. Which you should get another new feeling to have fun with the car. For performance you do what ever is necessary and for those which has nothing to do with performance parts, don’t go with standard modification but trusting your sense and building it. this one point important to have a car life.

550GP開幕、5時50分の扉が開いた日

スーパーオートバックス名古屋ベイで明日からの週末に開催するASM×レカロフェアに持ち込むASM S2000とZ33。S2000はAP2-110型ベースのストリートカーなのでSA神戸や浜松など各地で開催しているASMフェア時の同乗試乗がかなり人気を集めます。今回は初めての名古屋でのイベントなので、今までASMの製品を見たことがないオーナーさんにもその魅力を知っていただけたらいいなぁと思っています。
さて、その3号車ですが、何回か書いたことがあるとおりオーナーカーです。新車の時からお預かりして、パーツ選択やカラーコーディネートまで全てボクに任せてもらっている車です。使っているパーツがパーツなのでそれなりにお金はかかりましたが、自称飽きっぽいオーナーさんが「もう1年経ったの？！早いなぁ」と言うぐらい少しずつS2000が変わっていく過程を楽しめているようで、まだまだこれから先もS2000と一緒に過ごせそうな感じです。そんなS2000 3号車を簡単にご紹介しましょう。
■エクステリア
I.S.Designエアロパーツでシンプルにまとめています。フロントバンパー・ボンネット・リヤウィングはカタログ非掲載モデルの高強度カーボンプリプレグ製。リヤはよりオーソドックスなデザインの04タイプを選択しています。フロントバンパーのデザインはデビューが5年前とは思えない全く古さを感じさせないもので、完成度の高さを改めて実感します。ボンネットは排気ダクトの裏骨形状を工夫して、水がエンジンルームに直接入らないようにしてボンネットキャッチ部分に流れるようになっています。ウォッシャーノズルはUS仕様の拡散パイプに変更してあります。リヤウィングはガーニーフラップの厚み分を予め低くしたウィング断面にフラップを追加したこだわりの製品。ウィング断面・翼端板はもちろん、ステーまでカーボンプリプレグ製です。フロントフェンダー〜リヤバンパーにかけて、跳ね石による傷付き防止のためにガードテープで保護しています。
■タイヤホイール・ブレーキ
タイヤはBS POTENZA RE-11。ドライとウェットとの差が大きいこと、コンパウンドグリップに極端に頼って磨耗が早いこと、この2つはストリートタイヤとしては適していないと考えてこの選択になりました。個人的にはADVAN NEOVA AD08に興味がありますが、相当なペースで15,000km近く使っているにも関わらずまだまだタイヤの山が残っているので交換はしばらく先にさりそうです。ホイールはProdrive GC-07J。S2000専用オフセットモデルをベースにポルシェ997 GT3RSのオレンジに塗装したスペシャルモデルです。このホイールに合わせてドアミラーやロールバーも塗装しました。当初賛否両論があったこのカラーリング、ワークスマシンにも若干の影響を及ぼしたそうで・・・。ブレーキパッドはFERODO DS2500、ホースはASMステンレスメッシュ製、フルードはAP RACING PRF660を組み合わせています。当然AP RACINGブレーキキットが欲しいところですが、この3点セットのバランスがとてもいいので優先順位は下がりがちです。
■エンジン・吸排気
無限エアクリーナーBOX、ASMエキゾーストマニホールド07、I.S.Designサイレンサーキットを組み合わせています。ECUはG.T WORKS GENROM、エンジン系ではTODA RACING 軽量クランクプーリーを装着して、実質的なパワーアップを達成しています。ここまでやった状態で、近接排気騒音は92〜93db前後、規制値が96db（小数点以下切捨てなので96.9db）であることを考えるとかなりマージンがあります。乗ると分かりますが、はっきりと「速い」ですよ。
■駆動
DREXLER LSDが最大のポイントです。機械式2wayLSDなのに振動や音が一切なく、スムーズに滑らかにレスポンス良く効くLSDです。似たようなコンセプトのLSDを多数乗りましたが全部別物でした。筑波スペシャルや1号車にも装着していますが、手押しする時にデフの硬さを全く感じずひとりで動かせるほど滑らかです。その他、TODA RACING軽量フライホイール、ASMステンレスメッシュクラッチホース、遅延機構カット済みクラッチレリーズへの交換を済ませるなど、メンテナンス麺での気難しさは一切ないままに質感と性能を向上させました。
■インテリア
レカロシート＋KAROマットが基本です。シートはRECARO RS-G ALCANTARA Versionを左右セットで装着。たくさんのお客さんが試乗したり、ボク自身もあちこちこのS2000に乗って移動することを念頭に置いて耐久性と格好良さのバランスを考えて選んだのがこのシートでした。今だったら本革＋アルカンターラのコンビモデルもいいかもしれません。多分通常の布モデルを装着していればもう少し傷みが気になって、来年となるとさらに劣化が進行していると思います。
フロアマットはシザルのKARO製。純正シートレールはもちろん、レカロ純正シートレールとの同時装着を念頭に置いた形状が特長です。色はエクステリアパーツと合わせてオレンジを選択しました。ロールバーが無限製をベースにオレンジに塗装。傷が付かないようにガードテープで保護してあります。
■サスペンション
いつもはASM SREダンパー3way＋HYPERCO 12.5kg/mmをセットしていますが、昨日からKWダンパーキットに変更しました。しっとりとした乗り心地が特長で、SREのソリッドで出来のいいレーシングカーそのままの乗り心地より、多少ふわふわした方が乗り心地が良いと感じるユーザーさんにはこちらがお薦めです。ダンパーが完全独立の2way調整なので、より細かくユーザーさんの好みに合わせこむことが可能です。もちろん高速ツーリングやワインディングも得意なので、ただ柔らかいサスとは違いますからご安心下さい。
これらの他にもナンバーボルトが変わっていたり、ラジエタープレートが無限専用のカーボンモデルだったり、それを止めるネジもスペシャルだったり細かい部分に違いがある車です。じっくりとご覧いただければと思います。

Engine oil change. MIDLAND Competition 15W-60
Running with high revolution, high load, constant long drive and its been use and driven in very hard conditions. Our car no.3 is actually a customer car so we cannot afford to brake this car and so for the hot summer until autumn we recommend using this oil. Sense of reassurance is completely different.
Changing transmition oil to MIDLAND 90R
It is more than enough with the genuine oil, but same with the engine oil for a sports run we recommend this oil.
Deferential oil change Castrol Pure Racing SAF-XJ 74W-140
this oil is specified oil for the DREXLER LSD. It has the balance of systemic and endurance and can be use on genuine LSD for heat resistance. I am also using it on my MINI and the Peugeot 306 as a MTF and it has a natural feeling.
Changing Damper and alignment
To experience the KW Damper Kit Version-3 for the ASM Summer Sale 2009 which we are going to have. From SRE 3way to KW. This damper is has the comfort for high speed touring and so for those S2000 owner interested, we have the car prepared to experience it. This weekend will be at Super Autobacs Nagoya Bay and for those other days at ASM Yokohama.
The SRE 3way damper, which we removed from the car, will be having changes of specification. Few months ago, we had the rear damper Rebound and Low speed a few % softer than the production model. It the way I wanted to be but the amount of changes were a bit many. So we are going for the set up in-between. With the character of the damper, which can adjust the piston, speed low this much detailed is the SRE damper’s orifice model only.

ASM S2000 3号車が納車されました

AP1-120型までのS2000で古さを感じさせるデザインのパーツと言えばヘッドライトとテールランプユニットではないでしょうか。「あくまでオリジナルを大切に」と言う考え方ももちろんOKですが、自分で買ったS2000 1号車を見て未だに古さを全く感じないのは、ここをいち早く後期モデル用に入れ替えたからだと思います。人の顔で言えば目のプチ整形みたいなものでしょうか？とにかく印象が変わります。
ヘッドライトは部品点数が多く、工賃よりも部品代が占める割合が多いのですが、問題はテールランプユニットです。部品点数は少なくて安上がりなのですが、初期モデルと中期以降のモデルでランプユニット裏の形状が大きく異なるため、ボディ側に空いている穴の形が全く違います。中期以降のヘッドランプに換装するためにはボディ側の穴を広げる必要があるのですが、そのままだと何とも痛々しい・・・。カーペットを戻せば見えない部分ではありますが、その部分が汚いままだと分かっているオーナーさんはずっと気になるかもしれません。
ASMでは穴を広げた後、不要な初期モデル用の穴位置に鋼板を溶接して塞ぐようにしています。どうせだったら見えない部分まで綺麗に仕上げたいし、テールレンズへの水の浸入リスクも軽減できますから。もう大きな作業はほとんど終了しました。後はエンジンマウント交換などの簡単な作業が少し残っているだけです。納車を楽しみにしていてください。
One part about S2000 models up AP1-120 which gives you this old feeling is about the head light and tail light. It’s understandable to keep it original but looking at our ASM car no.1 which still does not look old is because I have changed head lights and tail light as soon as it came out. Which changes the image totally. Just like a light plastic surgery.
With the head light, there is many parts, which usual cost more then installment fee, but the problem is the tail light. There aren’t many parts to changes but due to the difference of the hole of the frame with the first models and current models it’s a bit a hustle. You will need to make the hole a big larger to fit the tail light. Even though it will be covered with the carpet after you will be able to see the after scraped. Which some owners will worry.
At ASM after opening the hole, we will cover the unnecessary hole with a plate welded on. We like to finish it nicely even though you won’t be able to see that place. And will also help with the risk of water going in. Most of the large installment is done, the rest is changing the engine mount and a few more light work on it and its done. I hope he is looking forward to get back his newly refreshed car.
