発売前からご予約いただいていたZ34用サクラムサイレンサーキットを装着しました。先日SACLAMさんで音は確認していましたが、いつも聴いているASMピット内で聴く音はまた一味違いました。Z33用と比較して多少高周波音を抑え気味と聞いていたしそう言う印象もありましたが、今回装着してチェックしている時の音はZ33用と遜色のない綺麗な音に聞こえました。これならZ33用の音を聴いてもらってZ34に装着しても全く問題ないでしょう。
2本の盲腸管とそれを固定するプレートなど非常に凝った作りをしています。機能美・造形美を兼ね備えたZ34用マフラーの集大成が早くも完成しました。これはお薦めですよ。

We had reservation before the actual product was out. And today we installed the first SACLAM Silencer kit at ASM. I did check the sound and performance at SACLAM the other day but at the environment, which I am always listening, was a bit different. Comparing with the Z33 silencer kit, it’s a bit quiet with the high pitch sound. And checking it with the Z34, I think it’s a bit more clear sound. Even after hearing the Z33, it shouldn’t be a problem.
The two pipe, and the plate holding are exquisite workmanship. Beautility, figure, is perfect. Silencer kit for Z34 has arrived. I highly recommend this for those Z34 owners.

買ったばかりの他社製マフラーからSACLAM管に交換しました。もう1台所有しているR56 MINI Cooper SにもSACLAM管を装着していただいたお客様ですが、「結局遠回りしてこれかぁ・・・」と残念そうで嬉しかったです。次の課題はMINIのサスキット。今はダウンサス＋乗り心地重視のダンパーを組み合わせているそうですが、思っていた快適な足とはちょっと違って残念な感じがしているとのことでした。SRE＋HYPERCOの組み合わせが解決してくれると思いますよ。お待ちしています♪

This customer just bough this other company silencer kit but decided to change it to SACLAM pipes. He also owns a R56 MINI Cooper S that also has SACLAM pipes installed. In the end up with SACLAM which he should be satisfied with. The next step will be suspension kit for MINI. At the moment he only changed to low springs for comfort. But a bit disappointed with it. SRE and HYPERCO will defiantly solve this problem. I will be waiting for that.

ASM Z33で音質を確認していただき、そのまま勢いで？SACLAM管を装着していただきました。装着完了後にアクセルを踏みまくる様子が嬉しさを物語っています。音、良かったでしょう？VQ35HR＆380RS専用エキゾーストマニホールドを追加することでさらに音質が良くなりますから、今の状態に慣れた頃にぜひ追加を検討して下さい。ASMにはZ33用SACLAM管がたくさんではありませんが数本のみ在庫してあります。今週末のSA神戸イベントにもZ33を持って行きますので、興味のあるZ33オーナー様はぜひこの機会にご来店下さい。即日取付をご希望される場合は、S2000・Z33問わず、事前に問い合わせをSA神戸さんに入れておいていただいた方がいいでしょう。

After listening the sound of our ASM Z33, without any time to think we were installing it. After installment. He was revving a lot, which you can tell how happy and satisfy he was with the sound. It’s a lovely sound. Adding the exhaust manifold for the VQ35HR&380RS will even make the sound quality better. After getting used to the sound, please think of getting the manifold as well. Not many but we at ASM, we have couple of pcs of SACLAM pipes in stock.
We will bring our Z33 to SA Kobe for the event so if you are interested or any Z33 owners should come and take a look at it. It will be wise if you made reservation with SA Kobe for installment on that day. S2000 or Z33.
We had a FD2 Civic Type-R owner at ASM today. He ordered the G.T.WORKS GENROM, K&G C72LLC and FIGHTEX damper kit from TODA RACING. We will do the damper and C72 end of the month. After everything is done we should go to Hakone for breakfast.

チャレンヂに行く前に、サクラムさんを訪問してきました。Z34用SACLAM管の完成度を実際に自分の耳で確認するためです。試乗コースは関越自動車道で色々な回転域と速度での音量・音質の確認、トンネル内で車外音の確認を中心に、通常市街地走行もしてきました。
高速道路で印象的だったのは静かさです。加速騒音規制をクリアするための音量に抑えてあるのも要因のひとつですが、それよりもZ34がZ33より確実に静かになっていることの方が大きな要因っぽいですね。その証拠に、窓を開けてみるとしっかりSACLAMミュージックが響いていました。不等長エキマニに起因する割れ音はZ34でもしっかり残っていたのが残念ですが、エキマニ交換で改善できるものなので問題ないでしょう。
トンネルの中ではしっかりSACLAMでした。高回転域でやや音が消えてしまう傾向がありますが、窓を開けるとちゃんと音が聞こえます。これ以上を望むと加速騒音規制に引っかかってきそうなので、もう少し音量を絞ったあたりが落としどころの気がしました。気になるのはエキマニです。ASMバージョンと同じ45φが確実に性能に表れるのですが、そうすると加速騒音がどうかなぁと言うレベルになるかもしれません。そうなると多少絞り気味のエキマニにするか、そのあたりは宇野社長がテストの結果を受けて最善の選択をしてくれると思いますから結論を待ちます。
Z34は新しい車だから新騒音規制への対応が絶対用件なので、Z33程自由な音作りはできない傾向にあります。その中ですでにこの音質と騒音規制対応をバランスできているZ34用SACLAM管の完成度はかなり高いと言えそうです。田中実さんのスイフトも何やら作業していました。こちらもいよいよ完成です。
Prototype SACLAM Pipe For Z34
Before going to Challenge, I went to visit SACLAM. To actually see and hear the actual finished product for the Z34. At the test course I drove, I was checking the volume and the sound quality of different speed and different rpm. The sound when driving through the tunnel from inside the car and outside and also drove within the city.
The first impression at the highway was very quiet. I guess to pass the sound test for the inspection when accelerate, but the car it self is also quiet if you compare from the Z33. but after opening the window, no worries, you will hear that lovely SACLAM music. Due to the unequal zed header pipes, like on the Z33, there is a bit of noise break. But I think changing it should solve this problem.
In the tunnel was perfectly SACLAM. The sound disappears at high rpm but after opening the window you can hear it properly. I think if you ask for more if wouldn’t pass the inspection test. But I am thinking about the headers. I think for the performance, it would be best to make it like the ASM version 45φ but if I do this, again, I will have problem with passing the inspection test. Maybe less volume for the actual product. I will discuss with them and wait for the result of the test.
The Z34 is a new car so it has to pass the new noise regulation. Its not like the Z33 which you can make the sound freely. Even though with the strict noise regulations, they have made the sound quality for the Z34 at a very high level. They were also doing something to Tanaka Minoru-san’s SWIFT which is also almost done.

埼玉県・千葉県からそれぞれご来店のS2000オーナーさんがI.S.Designサイレンサーキットを装着です。最近の週末は毎日のようにご購入いただいており、AP2用についてはすでに4月末入荷予定分まで予約が埋まりつつある状況です。AP1用は3月に入荷した5本の内1本だけ在庫がある状態なので、それが売れると4月末と言うことになります。4月の入荷予定本数は5本程度なのでGWを前にしてあっという間に完売しそうな予感がします。
この週末、ETC装着車を対象とした高速道路料金の割引を使って、名古屋方面〜東北地方のお客様まで非常に広範囲からご来店いただきました。レカロも含めてもし気になっている製品がありましたら、来店前にメールでも結構ですから在庫確認だけでもしていただくとすごく嬉しく思います。「ASMだから在庫があるだろう」と期待してご来店いただいたのに完売では残念さが4倍ですから。

We had two S2000 customers today one from Saitama and Chibaken. Installing the I.S.Design Silencer kit. Almost every day we are selling the I.S.Design Silencer kit. We have reservation up to end of April for the AP2. For the AP1 out of 5pcs we have 1left at the moment. If we sell that we wont have stock until end of April for the AP1. and we are only going to have 5pcs of stock then which I think it will be sold out with the holiday coming up.
This weekend lot of customers from far places came to ASM. Due to the highway reducing their price for the ETC installed vehicle. Including RECARO items if there is an item, which you are planning to get, it will be wised if you call in advance to see we have the items in stock. It will be a shame after coming all the way to ASM and we don’t have the item in stock.

After installing the exhaust manifold 07 in February and after hearing the sound of the ASM car no.3 with the I.S.Design silencer kit, he fell in love with the sound and got one for him self today. Together with the silencer kit, he changed the engine oil to MIDLAND, mission oil, Castrol Deferential oil, FERODO DS Performance, AP RACING PRF660, LLC C72, MUGEN thermostat, fan switch.
After talking with for more then an hour, about the ASM SRE damper kit, about the 550 lather jacket, and some of our other regular customer, and thinking of getting those next. One thing about this customer is only twenty-one years old and I was impressed. Many young people in Japan are getting less interested in cars, people like him makes me feel happy. There is going to be a fair in Super Autobacs in Kobe and hope to see him then.

He also has installed the ASM SRE Damper kit 2WAY and enhanced rear sub frame. I hope he was satisfied and enjoyed the ride back home.
