雨の初日、ビックリするほどたくさんのスイフトオーナーさんがご来店になりました。ビックリと言っても、常に数台のオーナーさんが居るぐらいなので、田中ミノルさんやミノルインターナショナルのスタッフの方々がマンツーマンで丁寧に対応したり同乗走行できるぐらいなので、ASMらしいイベントでちょうど良い感じでした。空力性能を考え抜いたリヤバンパー、サスペンションセッティングの最大のポイントと言えるトーションビームをお買い上げいただいた他、一昨日試乗してボクが一発で気に入ってしまったこだわりのホイールなど、S2000オーナーさんに負けないマニアックなパーツが人気で驚きましたが、レーシングドライバー自らが製品開発しているTM-SQUAREを理解しているスイフトオーナーさんならではの傾向かもしれません。

I was surprised with many people who came to the fair even though it was raining. With Tanaka Minoru-san and his stuff explaining their items politely and given them a ride with their two demo cars they brought in. it was something like our usual ASM fair and was just nice. Aerodynamically design front and rear bumper, set up for the damper, and the toe-tion beam was the biggest point of their cars. And also the rims which I fell in love with while I drove it last night. It has lot of detailed parts like our S2000 parts and was very popular. Any SWIFT owner will understand TM-SQUARE since a racing driver him self is producing these items.
We couldn’t manage to sell any SACLAM silencer kit for SWIFT but their were many request to hear the sound. And I am planning to show off as much as possible of this car sound to those swift owners coming today. Even though the two genuine catalysers remove the high frequency sound, they have tried and manage to give out a sound which the driver can enjoy. And the engine which formula Toyota help modify, and the exhaust which gives out 100% performance of its engine, the choices which Tanaka Minoru-san made for this are due to absolute durability. With the glass wool types which will help keep the sound quality and volume as long as possible. The balance of these items are a must.
Tanaka Minoru will be at ASM after 3pm. You will be able to talk about some deep stuff and he will give you a ride with the demo cars prepared. We will be waiting.

ゴールデンウィークもいよいよ後半戦、お出かけ先から帰ってくる人も増えてきましたし、前半は仕事でこれから休みって人もたくさんいらっしゃるようです。ASMにも相変わらず遠くからお客様がご来店下さっています。GWを自宅で過ごそうと考えている人にS2000本の紹介です。ネコパブリッシングさんからS2000ムック本が出ました。ASMも紹介されていますし、昔からのチューナーさんや新しいショップなどもちょくちょく出ています。
最新の情報はネットで何でも集めることができますが、今の時代に本に新しい情報を求めるのはちょっと酷かもしれません。それよりも1冊手にとって外のカフェで目を通しながらコーヒーを飲んで楽しく時間を過ごしたり、幅広く興味のきっかけを探したりする上でまだまだこういう出版物は大切だと思います。S2000生産終了の節目に出版されたLegendary J's 02 HONDA S2000、ぜひ書店で買ってみて下さい。

The golden week holiday is at the middle stage, many are coming back, some are starting they holiday after working the first half. At ASM there are still many customers who come from far places of Japan. Here are for those S2000 owners who are spending their time at home. It’s a magazine for S2000 from Neko publishing. ASM is also been introduced in it with many other tuners. From before and new.
Recently you can find any kind of information on the internet but at this time, it’s a bit difficult to get new information from a book. But I think taking one book or magazine, sitting out side of a café shop, just enjoying the slow time passing by is also another way of searching your hobby and another way of looking at it. This kind of publish is important. With the S2000 finishing in production, maybe you should take a look at it.

今週から取り扱いを始めた洗車用品「ENJO」のご紹介です。オーストリア発のブランドで、家のクリーニングから人のボディケアまで使える特殊クロスを製造しています。最近MINIや3号車のメンテナンスに使っているのですが、外装で言えば拭き取り能力の高さのおかげで、通常のセームだと10回拭くところを3〜4回で拭き取ってしまうぐらいの差があり、拭き取り回数が少ない＝傷をつけるリスクも少ないし手早く洗車を終わらせることができます。窓拭きに使うとその効果をさらに実感できます。まず、水拭きしても拭き取り跡がほとんど残りません。さらに乾拭きで仕上げると完璧で、ワイングラスのような透明感を手に入れることができます。
ガレージグローブは洗車用、洗剤の中にザブザブつけながらボディを洗う時に使います。ENJO社では「洗剤を使わずに」と言っているほどで、ボクは面倒くさがりなので洗剤未使用で手入れしています。もちろん中性洗剤を使った方がもっといいですよ。マイクロスター（アウトドア用）はボディとガラスの水を拭き取るのに使ってください。ついでに車内の汚れや内窓も水拭きで綺麗にしましょう。最後に内窓と外窓をマイクロスター（ブルー）で乾拭きして完成。ガラスの透明感と作業の楽さに驚きますよ。今日早速購入してくれたS2000オーナーさんがいらっしゃいました。感想を聞くのが楽しみです。

For car lovers, those who don’t. Car wash item for both.
We started to handle this car wash product from ENJO. This brand is from Austria and which produces special cloth for house cleaning to human body care. Lately I have used it on MINI and S2000 car no.3. I was surprised with the wiping ability of this cloth. Usually takes about 10times but it can wipe it within 3~4times. It wipes off with just a few strokes, which means less damage to the body and helps finishes car wash faster. You can see even more if you use it on the window. It won’t leave marks of after wipe. And finishing it with a dry cloth will give you a transparent feeling like a wine glass.
The glove is for washing the car. It’s like a sponge glove and is used with shampoo. ENJO says there is no need to use shampoo and I am a bit of a lazy person so I always never use shampoo. Off cause I think using shampoo will be even better. Microstar (for out door) for the body and widow to wipe off water. And the blue one is specially for the window inside and out side. You will be surprised with the effect and how easy it is. There were one S2000 customer who bought one right away and looking forward of how it is.

取材対応のため、月曜日のチャレンヂさんに続き金曜日はアネブルさんを訪問しました。主な話題はDREXLER LSDとSREダンパーの話です。ASM筑波スペシャルにザックスを採用するようになったきっかけやその後の製品開発の話、DREXLER LSDとSREダンパーの優位性など、話はあちこちに飛びながら撮影を含めほぼ1日の取材となりました。F3・Fニッポンなどフォーミュラカー、S-GT500・WTCCなどツーリングカー、WRCラリーダンパーなど、カテゴリーを問わずトップダンパーの評価を得ているSREの魅力の一端を編集担当者さんにも知ってもらえたはずです。
DREXLER LSDについても、雪深い南アルプス沿いの工場で作っているだけあって、積雪路面でも安心して使える滑らかだけど確実に作動してトラクションを向上させてくれるパーツだと言うことを様々な面から説明しました。高精度LSDを組み付けるからこそ、組み付け時にハンマーで叩いて衝撃を与えたりせずに組み込むことを意識している点など、取付時の気遣いや設備についての言及もあります。誌面でどれぐらい伝えてくれるのか分かりませんが、今後も何かの機会に今回の資料をさらに肉付けしたような記事を書いてもらえたらいいなぁと思います。
その後はFCJ・F3・996Cup Carをはじめ様々なSREレースダンパーを後学のために見せてもらいました。どれもこれもオーソドックスだけど作り込みの質が良いです。S2000・Z33・MINI用にリリースしているASMダンパーも同じクオリティで製造されているのですが、とにかく円であるべき部分は徹底して真円を追求して作られています。当たり前と思うでしょうけど、その当たり前を達成するのは非常に困難なことです。SREダンパーがスムーズに動くことは、5mmのストロークで勝負するフォーミュラの世界で圧倒的な評価を得ていることから容易に理解できますが、こういう基礎的な要素をちゃんと研究開発しているからこそ実現できる性能なのでしょう。
Visiting enable
I went to enable for coverage on Friday, the most topic we were discussed was about the DREXLER LSD and the SRE Damper. We talked about how we at ASM started using SACHS and how we started producing products afterwards, DREXLER LSD and how competitive SRE Damper is. While talking and doing the photo shoot finish the interview. I think we have managed to explain why the SRE is so attractive. Which is also been use in F3, Formula Nippon, Formula cars, S-GT500, WTCC, touring cars, WRC Rally Dampers, with any kind of category has a high popularity.
I have also explained to them about the DREXLER LSD it’s been made is a factory in a Deep South Alpine. Which makes you feel safe on snow packed roads. It’s smooth and moves accurately and gives excellent traction. With sufficient accuracy while building the LSD. They don’t use hammer to give any impact shock. I am not sure how much they are going to put it in the magazine but I hope in the future I can add more info about the article.
After that enable showed me many different dampers like FCJ, F3, and 996 Cup Car. Each and every one of them are made orthodoxy and well made. Our ASM damper for the S2000, Z33, and MINI is also produced and has the same quality. For parts, which need to be in circle, are perfectly circled. It goes without saying that it has to be but to achieve this is very difficult. to make the SRE damper to move smooth, in a formula car world a 5mm stroke has a high reputation and highly evaluated. After studying this primary elements, which made this possible.

ASM×レカロフェア IN スーパーオートバックス浜松が無事終了しました。フェア初日午前中は激しい雨でしたが、午後になって急速に天気は回復し、晴れ間も見えて試乗時もオープンで走ることができました。2日目は快晴。空気は冷たかったけどこれ以上ないイベント日和に恵まれました。さすがはSA浜松、Z33オーナーさんがたくさんご来店になりASMエキゾーストマニホールドを予約の2セットを含め全部で4セットご成約下さったようです。S2000用エキゾーストマニホールドも2本ご成約いただきましたし、エキマニの人気が今後も高まっていきそうな感じです。
ASMにいつもご来店下さっているお客様も、四国高松、四国徳島、千葉、神奈川の他、中部エリアからも何人かご来店下さいました。初対面のお客さん同士も色々なパーツやイベントの話で盛り上がり、距離を全く感じさせない空間になっていました。その後遠征チームは「みんなのハイエースロング」をご近所のレンタカー屋さんでレンタル、メインイベント？の鰻屋さんに向けて出発です。運転手はもちろん大型二種免許取得済みの王様です。白焼き・うな重を満喫、それにしてもここの鰻はいつ食べても本当に美味しい。たまたま隣の座敷に来ていた4人組の女性グループの皆さんと記念写真の撮り合いをしてSAHに戻りました。
閉店後、関東からの遠征グループと一緒に横浜に向かって出発です。みんなオープンが大好きなので超薄着のまま牧之原SAまでオープンで走ると言うハプニングはありましたが、特に大きな渋滞もなく順調に移動。最後に足柄SAで軽く休憩してそこで一応解散しました。僕はそこから横浜までまたオープン（笑）、外気温は1〜2度ぐらいだったかな？眠気も疲れも吹き飛んで楽しいドライブを満喫しました。
今回ASMパーツやレカロシートをご購入いただいた皆様、ありがとうございました。次の浜松遠征は6月頃かな？その頃には3号車は今よりさらにバージョンアップしています。ぜひ遊びに来て下さい。
We mange to finish our ASM, RECARO fair at Super Autobacs Hamamatsu. The morning of the first day was raining heavily but in the afternoon the rain stop and manage to drive with the top down. The second day had clear sky. A bit cold but it was a nice day for the event. Like I expected, there was a lot of Z33 at SA Hamamatsu. We manage to sell four ASM exhaust manifold for the Z33. Two exhaust manifold for S2000. Exhaust manifold is getting popular.
And our regular customers from ASM came as well, from Shikoku Takamatsu, Shikoku Tokushima, Chiba, and Kanagawa and from mid area of Japan. Even first time customers enjoyed with talking with our regular customers, which made the even fun and distance irrelevant. Other guys who live further borrowed a long van and came. And off cause the driver of this long van is KING. And we had a nice lunch, which I always go whenever I go to SA Hamamatsu. We also took a group picture with some lady’s which they where sitting beside us.
After the event, all of us went back to Yokohama together. All of them love to open the top, even though it was a bit cold and most of them were wearing light clothes. There wasn’t much traffic and manage to go to Ashigara Service area for a break and dismiss. From there I open to top until Yokohama. I think the temp. was about 1~2℃ and my sleepiness flew off. It was a fun drive all the way back.
I would like to thank everyone who has purchased ASM parts and RECARO seats, thank you. I think we will go to Hamamatsu again in June. By then ASM S2000 car no.3 should be more modified. Please come again then.

王様☆2009、ASM SREダンパーキット3WAYを手に入れました

毎日寒い上に雨が降ったり雪が降ったりの横浜ですが、今日は久しぶりの晴れ。またすぐに天気が悪くなりそうだけど、ASM S2000 3号車・ASM Z33・僕の赤いMINI 3台まとめて洗車したり、つかの間の好天を満喫しています。
ここ数日、事務仕事や雑誌関係の仕事でいっぱいいっぱいなのですが（汗）、そんな中で楽しい話題もありました。去年クリスマス頃に構想をスタートしたASMオリジナル革ジャン、正式名称「550じゃん♪」の完成が見えてきたことです。当初の予定では夏真っ盛りの7月頃革ジャンでホカホカキャンペーンでも開催しようかと思っていたのですが、縫製職人のおじさんが頑張ってくれたおかげで春の箱根シーズンに何とか間に合わせることができそうです。来週末のSA浜松イベントに間に合わせたかったのですが、それはちょっと無理かな・・・その翌週には何とか完成できるかもしれません。
この革ジャンは革を裁断して縫製する完全オリジナルです。左胸に905ロケット、背中にはASMロゴにS2000モチーフのデザインを組み合わせた刺繍が入ります。もちろん生地から作っているので裏地に刺繍跡が出てきません。裏地はダークブラウンのキルティングで革との間には防寒用の中綿を薄く入れてあります。チャックには宇宙服にも採用されている世界スタンダードYKK製を採用しました。そしてもうひとつのハイライトはまさにこの革ジャン専用に用意したチタン削り出しボタン、もちろんASMロゴがレーザー刻印されています。襟部分は本革に意味不明ステッカーと同じデザインを焼印したタグをつけています。
上野の革ジャン屋さんに行けば、アメリカ空軍御用達のCooperなど有名なブランド品がもっと安く売っているのですが、長く着ることができる革ジャンだからこそたくさんのこだわりを込めてコスト度外視で作った製品を手に入れてもいいんじゃないかな？そう考えて最初は自分自身用に1着だけ作る予定でした。気が付けばそれが3着になり5着になり、最終的にはASM Blogに掲載する前にモノを見ることもなく3時間で全11着が完売。だから今日のBlogは「こんなの出します」ではなく、「売れてしまいました」の報告です（笑）。今後、何らかの形でカスタムオーダーを受けて1着ずつ革ジャンを作っていこうかなと考えていますので、気になる人は製品ができた頃に見に来て下さい。

2009 ASM YOKOHAMA Spring Tuning Sale has begun.
And the fist day is raining… its boring. Towards the weekends we are having many orders and inquires towards the weekend. For the RECARO Seats, RS-G ASM LIMITED CL, the new SR-VF ASM LIMITED are popular, off cause with S2000 parts, SACLAM pipes, MINI parts are also getting orders. We have a lot of orders of I.S.Design Silencer too, even though its not under sale. We are still waiting for this months lot for stock. For the spring driving season, I think it is a good timing to see the difference and enjoy is also another way. We are also having a lot of orders of the G.T. WORKS GENROM as well. If you are thinking of purchasing it, I recommend an early booking for it.
