S2000用I.S.Designサイレンサーキットが大人気です。過去1,500本以上販売して未だ人気のS-Specialシリーズや純正からの買い替えが大多数を占めていますが、Sスペ以上に多くなってきたのが他社製マフラーからの乗り換えです。そして一様に聞くコメントが「ここまで静かだったとは。しかも雑音が消えて、綺麗な排気音と言う言葉の意味が分かるようになりました。」と言う内容のものです。性能面に関しては2〜2.2Lエンジンに最適なメインパイプ60φを採用していますから、街乗りでの低速トルクをしっかりと確保できているのが特長です。センターユニット内の絞りについてよく質問されますが、圧損テストによって出力低下は1％程度と確認できているので誰もその差を体感することはできないでしょう。篭り音はトルク「感」に多少の影響を与えますから、音が静か過ぎてトルクが落ちたように感じるオーナー様もいると思います。そのあたりは静かさに慣れてくるとだんだん分かっていただけることでしょう。
今回のS2000オーナーさんはASM SREダンパーキット2WAY装着第1号の人でした。お気に入りだったSスペ70からの買い替えです。同時にASMステンレスメッシュブレーキホース・AP RACING PRF660交換・アライメント調整もご注文いただきました。次はZONEブレーキパッドへの変更をご検討されています。同じくお気に入りのRECARO TS-G ASM LIMITEDについても、最近になって本革＆アルカンターラコンビのRECARO RS-G ASM LIMITED CLに興味が出てきたとか？納車から3年を経過して、大人のS2000になるタイミングがやってきたのかもしれません。
今日は他にも、ASMステアリングボスとステアリング、S2000 SP-GN用シートレール、無限エンジンマウントをご購入いただいたり、無限サスペンション関係ブッシュ交換やASMリヤ強化サブフレームのお見積もりをいただいたり、平日なのに大忙しです。レカロ Blogにご紹介の通り今日は6脚のレカロシートをお買い上げいただきました。春になって、オープンカーに乗ったみんなが活動開始したのかな。
■I.S.Designサイレンサーキット（AP1用／AP2用） 315,000円
I.S. Design Silencer Kit, new standard for S2000 Exhaust
S2000 I.S Design silencer kit is very popular. We have sold 1,500 pieces and growing, from S-Special, or from normal. But most of them are from other brand exhaust to I.S.Design Silencer kit. Most of them says and are surprised with how quiet it is and understood the meaning of the nice exhaust sound. For performance wise, from 2~2.2L engines, the best pipes are 60φ which helps with the low speed torque. There is a lot of question about the center unit squeeze but which the sound is quiet makes you feel that the torque has fallen, and bhp will drop by 1%. But you can definitely feel the difference, which the more you drive you will understand.
This S2000 owner was the first to installed the ASM SRE damper kit 2WAY. Has change from S-special 70. also changing to ASM stainless mesh brake hose, AP RACING PRF660 and alignment. He will be changing the brake pads next to ZONE. And the other item he is interested is the RECARO RS-G ASM LIMITED CL, even though he has the RECARO TS-G ASM LIMITED. After three years with this S2000, he is planning to make the S2000 more formal.
We also had other customers changing to ASM steering boss and steering, S2000 SP-GN seat rail, MUGEN engine mount, changing the bush for the MUGEN suspensions, ASM rear enhanced sub frame and was a busy day. And as on the RECARO Blog, we manage to sell six RECARO seats. Its getting wormer and I guess every body getting ready for the spring drive.

SスペからI.S.Designサイレンサーキットへ、6年目の決断

都内からご来店になり、Sスペ70からI.S.Designサイレンサーキットに交換していただきました。オーナーさんが求めていたのはグラスウールを使わずに作られたマフラーでなおかつ音質がSスペ同等以上のものです。グラスウールを使わない理由はもちろん耐久性の向上、音質についてはSスペを外すとき「名残惜しい」と言っていたことからも、Sスペの音質に対する共感はあったと思いますので、それ以上の何かを求めて買い替えされたのでしょう。
これから色々な場面で、今までと違った音を奏でていることに気付くはず。確かに初期投資は安くはありませんが、長期間安定した音質を適度な音量で楽しんでいけると考えれば決して高いとも思いません。「長くS2000に乗っていきたい」、そう決めているオーナーさんにこそ手に入れて欲しい製品です。ありがとうございました。

To I.S.Design Silencer Kit from S-special 70
This customer came from the city and purchased the I.S.Design Silencer kit. Which he had the S-special 70. He was searching for one which does not use glass wool but also the sound of the S-special or more. The reason of not using the glass wool is to improve durability. Fro the sound quality, removing the S-special was a hard choice but I guess he was looking for something more.
In the future, he will recognize sounds different from the S-Special, and yes, it isn’t a cheep item but if you are think of it on the long run with constant quality sound and to enjoy, I think it isn’t that expensive. For those who like to enjoy S2000 for a long time, I recommend this item. Thank you.

For the AP2 S2000, Exhaust Manifold07 is the best. This is what we recommend at ASM. Easy manageability at mid-low speed, and off cause high performance at peak power of two in one. Using 1.5mm stainless pipe, unique metal exhaust sound which also can be use for every day and sports use. It has been welded for each part and makes it stiffer and off causes the sound quality and durability has been thought for this item. Especially like the I.S.Design silencer kit with high frequency silencer, if you used both of this it will fir perfectly but due to the length of the standard manifold isn’t equal, there will be a slight braking sound.
