デザインされた排気システム、S-special 6年目の進化

NISMO S2エンジン搭載のZ33（VQ35DE）にマキシムワークス製エキゾーストマニホールドを装着しました。今まではかなり不等長な社外エキマニを装着していたため、それが原因でかなり目立つ割れ音が出ていたので、ずっとオーナーさんにエキマニ交換をお薦めし続けついに装着です。
この組み合わせは、380RS＋ASMエキマニ＋SACLAM管の組み合わせに匹敵する甲高い音を奏でてくれました。以下、オーナーさんのコメントです。
「何故今まで交換しなかったのか。自分自身の判断でそうしたはずなのに、今となっては理解できません。このZ33はSACLAMと言う楽器を手に入れるために購入したにも関わらず、そのSACLAM宇野さんが推奨しているエキゾーストマニホールドを交換しないのでは本末転倒でした。今回エキマニを交換して手に入れたこの音こそ本当に欲しかったものです。今夜、夢に出てきますよ。」

Cursed Z
With the NISMO S2 engine on this Z33 (VQ35DE) we installed exhaust manifold from Maximum Works. Up to today he was using after market manifold which made a sound where the sound brakes up at high rpm. I have recommended changing the manifold and finally today he has.
With the combination of 380RS, ASM manifold, SACLAM silencer will have this high pitch sound like an Ferrari.
The owner commented “ I wander how come I didn’t change until now, I thought I made the right decision, I bought this Z33 so that I can install the SACLAM silencer I thought the sound I have already was perfect but this is the sound I really wanted, I am sure its going to be in my dream tonight”

去年、スーパーオートバックス神戸のイベントでASM Z33のSACLAM管＋ASMエキゾーストマニホールド Prototypeの音を聴いてから、その記憶が忘れられずにずっと欲しいと考えていたそうです。最近、首都高湾岸線を走っていた時に偶然目の前を走っていた黒いZ33にSACLAM管が装着されているのに遭遇し、その音を聴いて「決めました」。ちょうど2009年春のASMヨコハマ チューニングセールの対象商品だったため、工賃無料で本日装着です。
悩みに悩んだ買い物だったそうですが、作業終了後の排気漏れ確認時に既にひとりでニコニコ。「当分何も買わないよ」と最初は言っていたはずなのに、タイヤホイールかな？いやいや、やっぱり音と性能を両立するためにASMエキゾーストマニホールドかな？と次のプランを立てていました。帰り道の空港トンネル内の音、どうでしたか？ぜひまた遊びに来て下さい。ありがとうございました。

After hearing the prototype sound of the ASM Z33 SACALM pipes with the ASM exhaust manifold last year at Super Autobacs Kobe. He couldn’t forget the sound and thinking of purchasing it ever since. While he was driving at the Wangan Highway coincidently he saw a black Z33 at front, by hearing the sound of it he made the choice. This is one of the products that it’s under the tuning sale so installment fee was free.
He gave lot of thoughts about this but as soon as he heard the sound after installing it he was smiling by him self. First, he said he was not going to buy anything else for a while but after hearing the sound, he was already planning for the ASM exhaust manifold. フェラーリの排気音がクルマ好きにとってひとつの理想であることに疑いの余地はありません。そして、Z33用SACLAMサイレンサーキットがその理想像に最も近い存在であることも、この排気音を聴いた経験のある人なら納得いただけるのではないでしょうか。中間回転域の調律された音、高回転域の金属質な高周波音が混じった音、しかもそれを近接排気騒音96dBの中で達成していると言うのがポイントです。保安基準を無視すれば良い音作りは意外と簡単ですから。Z33用SACLAM管は間違いなく傑作と評価されるべき製品のひとつでしょう。F20CやK20Aと違って、エンジンは比較的低い回転で最高出力を発生しますから騒音計測回転数が低くなり、結果として音作りに自由度があるのも影響しています。
今回はサイレンサーのみでしたが、ぜひSACLAM製ASMエキゾーストマニホールド（Z33用）の装着をご検討下さい。性能はもちろん音質の著しい改善に驚くと思いますよ。このエキマニを手にすることができるのは、VQ35HRエンジン搭載車と380RSオーナーさんだけです。キャタライザーやY字パイプを交換する必要はありません。今気になっているはずの高速巡航から加速に移る場面で出る割れた音を調律することが可能です。
それにしてもZ33用SACLAM管は本当に綺麗、音と性能がデザインと細部の仕上げに表れています。まさに管楽器の雰囲気ですね。

There is no doubt that the ideal exhaust sound for a car lover is for example is the sound from a Ferrari. The SACALM silencer kit for Z33 is one item which sounds like it. I am sure if you hear the sound you will agree with me. With the high pitch metal screaming sound from the middle and it’s within 96dB is the key point. I’m sure if you ignore the safety regulations its going to be easy make a good sound silencer.
The SACALM pipe for the Z33 is one masterpiece. Not like the F20C or K20A there is more torque from below so you can major from a lower RPM and gives you more freedom with the sounds.
We only installed the silencer for this customer but I also recommend ASM exhaust manifold for Z33 from SACALM. The performance off cause but the quality difference with the sound is breath taking. This is only possible with a VQ35HR engine and 380RS owners. Its not necessary to change the cartelizer or the Y-shape pipe. It will also tune the sound at high-cruse when the sound starts to break up.
The sounds that the Z33 makes with the SACALM pipes are great. The sounds, performance, detailed quality gives a instrumental feeling.

VQ35HR＆380RS専用、SACLAM製エキゾーストマニホールド

発売開始以来ずっと長く人気のマフラーASM S-SPECIAL70ですが、最近になって「音量が大きくなってきたのでOHして欲しい」と言う依頼が増えてきました。Sスペのサイレンサーユニットは分解式ではありませんからOH＝ユニット交換になります。個人的には、OHするよりもネットオークションなどで手放してセール時に新品に買い替えるのが結果的にコストが掛からず最もお買い得だし、メインパイプも曲げの変更を加えているので最新モデルが最良と考えていますが、今のマフラーをずっと大切に使いたいと言うニーズも多いのでメニューとして設定しています。
まずはサイレンサーユニットの交換です。中間に1個、テールに1個（Type-Tの場合は2個）のサイレンサーユニットを使用していますが、それを新品ユニットに入れ替えします。順番としてはまず中間サイレンサーユニットを新品に、その後テールサイレンサーユニットをどうするか、と言う風に検討して下さい。劣化が早いのは中間ユニットです。また、最新のSスペに採用しているレゾネターパイプを追加できます。これらの変更で実質的に現行モデル新品と同じ音質を手に入れることができます。写真のマフラーの場合は、テールサイレンサーはそのままで、中間ユニットを新品に入れ替えてレゾネターパイプを追加しました。

Since we started selling our ASM S-SPECIAL70, it has been very popular and long selling. Recently, I have a lot of request to overhaul the silencer due to noise increase.
Well, the S-SPECIAL can’t be dismantled to different parts. So overhaul=changing the silencer unit to brand new. Personally, if you can sell it on the Internet auction or something, and purchase a brand new one when we have sales, it reduces the total cost. And we have slightly change main bent of the main pipe so the newer the better. So we have this on our menu to overhaul as well.
First, changing the silencer. Theirs one in the middle, one in by the tail or 2 if its Type-T. Replacing it with new ones. First changing the middle silencer then think if you want to change the tail as well. Because the middle silencer will wear out first.
Like the recent S-Special we also can add Resonator pipes. Changing these will get the same sound as the current models.
The picture above is one that we overhaul which we change the middle unit to brand new and to resonator pipe. We didn’t change the tail silencer.

左右出しマフラーとして人気のS-SPECIAL Type-Tと、トルクアップが体感できるASM エキゾーストマニホールド07をセットで装着いただきました。
マフラーは左右出しのルックスにこだわるS2000オーナーさんに人気の製品です。音質的には同じSスペのシングル出しと比較するとやや低音方向のマフラーですが、バンパーまで含めたトータルデザインに優れた製品となっています。2〜2.2Lエンジンには最適の60.5φメインパイプを採用し、そこから48.6φの左右パイプに繋げることで、パワーとトルクのバランスを取っています。最新のI.S.Designサイレンサーキットと違って、消音にはグラスウールとステンレスウールを採用しているため経年劣化が大きいのが弱点ですが、長期間使用後にサイレンサーユニットを交換することで新品時の音質を手に入れることができます。
エキゾーストマニホールド07は一部の曲げを修正しました。装着の方法や製品と車両の個体差が原因で、エキマニ装着時にボディとパイプがかなり近くなったり干渉を起こすことがあったのですが、今回の小変更でその可能性がほとんどなくなりました。性能に関しては言うまでもありませんが、街乗りで2,500回転程度の回転域から十分違いを感じていただけることでしょう。AP1・AP2どちらにもお薦めの製品です。

オープンカーとスポーツカー、両方の顔を持つS2000だからこそこだわりたい点が2つあります。ひとつはインテリアパーツ。レカロシートのデザインや左右のバランスに特にこだわりたい大きな理由のひとつは、オープン時にインテリアが外から見えるからです。フロアマット・各種内装パーツ等に至るまで、機能だけではなくデザインも性能と考えて車メイクすると、ちょっと駐車する時にオープンのまま停めていても絵になるS2000になっていきます。
